Well got the new Dredd CD and I can't say I was thrilled.
Dredd came off as though he was holding something between his ass cheeks, far too stiff.
Loosen it up a bit.
Not my vision of Death I'm afraid.
Sounds like Ka from Jungle book mixed up with Kevin Spacey and Hal from 2001.
Regarding the story I found it quite boring.
Not as good as the last release.
Still like the Radio 1 adaptions more.

Proof positive that you can't please all the people all the time. Or even all the people simultaneously just once.

Or something.

Rambling now. Must st--

Thread Zero

Well I liked it!

I must admit I adore Dredd's voice when Toby plays him calm, (as I mentioned in my review thread) but I imagine Dredd to be a little bit more cool.

Toby's Dredd is perhaps a little too pent up for my liking. Perhaps Dredd really should sound like Clint Eastwood after all...

Note to any actor playing Dredd, make him act and sound cool under fire.

Judge Death: I liked him. Sounds more like Judge Trippy Hippy to me but once you get used to it, Mark is very good.

(Have you noticed I am repeating my earlier thread?)

SO R  E   A   D where M  Y was  S C  R I  P T  I?

Ah yes. I preferred this story to the first one!
Oh well we all have different tastes, I guess.
Loved Walter the robot. Oh by the way I believe Judge Stallone actually makes a very brief cameo. Listen out for it. It concerns stairs!

I'm about a third of the way through it as I type. Pretty impressed so far. The voice of Death is superb, although I'm waiting for him to say "You're myyyy wife now, Joe!" :o)

Though Walters voice was good, and Mrs Gunderson is just Mrs Gunderson, very funny!

I shall offer my humble opinion on the rest at the back of 3. Bye for now!
NEGOTIATION'S OVER!
