If you live near Ipswich and can pick this lot up, you could get quite a bargain!

Al Ewing is officially my favourite comic writer working today. From the Baudelaire quotes to the 'firing pin' reveal, this stuff just works for me. Love it.
Ichabod Azrael is one of the best looking stories I've seen. But I do have to work hard to follow what's going on.

My pic of the cosplayers

Judge Rose was my fave too. Loved the Terminator, and Davros (sadly not pictured). On Sunday we briefly had a convincing Randall and Dante in Mooby's get-up that I liked.

My copy arrived from Amazon yesterday, so this is just a quick review-ette - I've only sat and read a few pages.
I LOVE the front and rear covers. I think this is the best looking of the Rebellion 'phone book' releases so far. Top marks to Simon Parr! Belardinelli's art looks even better on crisp white paper, even at the slightly smaller size. Of course, as a huge 'Ace Trucking' fan, I think the stories still read great. The colour story from the 1986 annual is reprinted in grey-scale, which looks.... okay.
Overall I'm VERY pleased, and this book will be read MANY times.

As many others have said, the panel was a real highlight.http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3070/2483734476_4e9ebc4573.jpg">

I went for The Master this year. John Burns drew me a Dreddy, and I'm VERY pleased with it.

Thanks for the heads up! Just booked tickets and hotel. Last year was my first con. I loved it. Got my first sketch (Sean Phillips), bought LOADS of comics, but was in the wrong hotel. So this year should be even better.

A "Compleat Ace Trucking Company" is long overdue.
