Amazon just cancelled my order from this... anyone know whats going on? It seems to have dropped off the radar?

Has the price changed? I#ve heard of Amazon cancelling orders if the price turns out to be more than they've quoted.

The same has just happened to me... what is going on the book microsite links to Amazon to buy the book and it is not available in the 2000ad online shop!!!

It's probably worth explaining how things tend to work with regard to the microsite and official shop. Essentially, the books go on sale here once Wake receives his copy and weighs it, to calculate postage. At that point (assuming I notice), the TPB site is updated with the link to the 2000 AD shop. In the meantime, I link to Amazon listings, to provide an alternate method of sourcing the books.

I believe the long-term solution is the remove all of the Amazon listings and replace them with a pre-order system on the 2000 AD shop.

As for Case Files 4, I guess it'd been delayed. Maybe Jon can shed some light on this.

Well, the release date has jumped from 8th June to 1st July, but still don't see why Amazon would cancel orders....

It took them over a month to send me my Making Of Rogue Trooper book so I'm assuming it was delayed, they never cancelled my order for that.

Yeah I have re-ordered too.  Though it has peeved me off a bit because I am paying international postage and that has now stung me twice.

I like the pre-order idea a lot, be nice to see this for everything released as it is now for the hunting party and book of invasions vol 2, great idea.

Me too but only to knock up the value of some cheap dvd I found.
It's like Amazon don't know the meaning of pre-orders unless it's the latest Harry Potter!

I forgot how bad FP is nowadays. The shaftesbury avenue one is full of tourists and you cant find any staff. They hardly had anything there anyway- only old copies of 2000AD  compilation tybe novels on sale.

Amazon now have vol 4 for order, with 5 and 6 now available for pre-order. Heaven knows what is going on. I've ordered the lot though!

I was in the Glasgow FP and asked about "Fiends Of The Eastern Front" and the guy almost laughed me out the shop, made some comment about how even if it does come out they certainly won't be getting it in, then slagged toothy. Was not cool.
