Currently enjoying The Witcher on Netflix. I came to it through listening to the soundtrack while I'm working. The music is excellent, and Joey Batey's performance as a bard is brilliant and hilarious at the same time.
It took four episodes before I realised the three threads are not concurrent - is that even a spoiler?
I'm assuming they meant audio drama. A dry read of a comic would be pretty dull.
I'm really looking forward to these.

They are great fun. Really well produced too. If the standard of production carries through to the upcoming audio adaptations of America, Halo Jones, etc., we are in for a treat.

Am I the only one who thinks the art here https://2000ad.com/news/behind-the-art-will-simpsons-desperadlands/ looks much better than it appeared in print?

I have to agree. I am one of those who enjoyed the Dredd Desperadlands story and praised Will Simpson's chaotically fun art over the past couple of weeks, but the pencil sketches are better than the finished work. I'd loved to have seen this strip inked by Will rather than painted. I shows clearly why he's one of the top storyboard artists in the business.

Durham Red is developing nicely. More layers of intrigue added. Good story. Lovely artwork.

Proteus Vex is still #1 for me at the moment. A nice mix of exposition and action.

I'm really digging Hershey at last. Simon Fraser's art is lovely and the story has come to life for me.

I'm surprised this one never caught on.
Did I read somewhere that this was a Brendan McCarthy design but he didn't have time to draw the strip, so David Roach did it instead?

Simon Davis. Incomparable.

Kevin O'Neill has always stunned and entertained. He's a unique talent, has been from the start. I've always gotten a thrill from turning the pages of his work. Nemesis, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Marshall Law; spinetingling stuff. Nevermind the fact that he set the visual agenda for the prog from the start.

BUT

Carlos's work just has the feels. Its alive. Blood flows in his characters. Its Carlos Ezquerra for me.

Lordy, tough one.
Simon Fraser scrapes in on this one.

How did the Player run for you?
I had 9 of the 10 episodes stream without a hitch, but one was very choppy.
Fewer advert interruptions after 10pm too I think.
A definite improvement, but it still needs a lot of work.

RTE Player is surprisingly smooth on this occasion. I'm broadcasting it from the phone app via Chromecast to the tv and have had no problems. No ads at all either, I've realised.
Interesting, when I use the Player app on built into the tv there are ads. Go figure.
