That scene,
where the Academy of Law goes up is destroyed...
I haven't felt that way reading a comic since seeing Parliament go up in flames in V for Vendetta. Spectacular, they really did hold no punches at all with this.

Ha! Put my foot on it there! I've always been more of a meg guy, used to be a be a big weekly reader, but these days it's usually a treat if money will allow for it. I've been keeping up to date and such, just not as much as I'd like unfortunately.  :(

No? (don't read the weekly these days).

Just received a rejection for a script from about 5 months ago. Usually have to wait longer for my annual kick to the balls!

FTL: Faster Than Light. It's incredible, as fun as it is difficult!

Thought I'd have a go at doing a photoshop job on my favourite Bolland panel. Didn't turn out as I'd hoped, too blurry, think I messed the layers up.

From the covers published so far, #2 Backup strip is Brendan McCarthy, #3 Langdon Foss, and #4 Inaki Miranda.

So 2 of those know Dredd, and the other one has a European styling which looks like it would fit.

I'm hoping the Paul Gulacy strip was just a misfire.

Was this ever published in the prog? The only strip I remember of Inaki's is the Regime Change one - this doesn't ring a bell.

From Eva de la Cruz's blog - from 2008, pencils by Miranda. I definitely prefer the skinnier Dredd with a retro helmet here to the musclebound one he did.

Yes, that was a Megazine issue, re-read it recently actually, it's from Judge Dredd: Mind Games, Meg 269.

You too have discovered the crack cocaine that is Star Trek Online? It's amazing isn't it? I still haven't caved in in regards to spending real money, mostly because I don't have any, but also I remember spending loads on City of Heroes only for the server to get shut down.

I wouldn't mind it. I'm on an on and off reader (due to financial contraints, otherwise I'd be bursting at the seams from thrillpower overload), and I ended up entirely missing Day of Chaos, which was a bit jarring when I happened to glance over the summery page one day and thought the "50 Million" citizens thing was a typo...

... Rubicon: Triumph and Tragedy of the Roman Republic...

That's a great book right there.

Certainly is, just wish I had more time to read it!

Sounds cool, might have to pick that up at some point.

Been looking forward to this a lot. I'm hoping there's at least a section (if not an entire free-roaming option) of driving the Batmobile around Gotham.

I've been tempted to pick it up, but after the disaster of the 3rd title, I've thought it best to just leave that series alone (especially since they started focusing more on multiplayer) though lately I've been tempted to go back. Does this actually add anything to the ending at all? If so I might be tempted to pick it up.

So what you're saying is, I should give Holy Terror a miss?
