I enjoyed this issue on the whole but I did think a lot of the similar points that the others did.

Regarding the holograms beating each other up - my thought process was that the holograms all run on the same computers so are "virtually" beating each other up with translated to the holograms doing things in the real world.  I cannot say I am a huge fan of the art though.

The scorched zone was interesting to start but starting to go a fair bit generic zombie by the end which I thought was a shame as I really liked the promise of the story in the first issue.

Skip Tracer did feel a bit generic.

Looking forward to where things go into with prog 2114!

I am in the same boat as you, as my friends and are designing a board game that we wish to kickstart.

I work at a university and luckily we have someone doing a talk on crowdfunding next week so I am attending to get all the information that I can! Anything of information I will try and remember to pass along.

The Mega City Book Club was also a massively helpful thing getting me to take a bigger interest in 2000AD.
Cheers and welcome aboard. Glad to hear the book club is doing what it should do.  :)

You run a fantastic podcast - the last few you've reviewed have had the titles passed to family members for possible Christmas Gifts!

Early thirties and have been into comics since University - always aware of 2000AD but never really delved into it.  After getting the Judge Dredd 01 collected edition I have been working my way through and started subscription to 2000AD!  Think I have a lot of catching up to do!

Welcome aboard!  How far through the Case Files have you made it so far? (am assuming you started with Judge Dredd Case Files 01, and not Judge Dredd the Mega Collection 01?)

I am currently on the first volume of the red covered collected case files, Just finished the storyline of Rise of Hi I'm Kenneth!
