Now we have his replacement, Rico, and he is starting to go on about is aches and doubts again how long will it be before Dredd takes the Long walk again (him quitting last time was a 'classic'.).

Will we have a new story about Dredd on his long walk or would it be to much like the Missionary Man?

Wood

I hope they just kill him and get it over with, frankly.

Rambo

But... that'd be like killing superman, wouldn't it?

Oh, wait... they did that! :)

It seems his sucessor is being groomed. However, the genetic stock has a tendency to flawed products. We've already seen Rico have at least one serious lapse in Judgement. Dredd won't forget that quickly. He's not likely to go voluntarilly until he's sure 'his' city is in safe hands.

Why do people always feel you have to 'kill off' old characters, even if they're classics?

I mean Dredd is... Dredd! We're not talking about Johnny Alpha here! ;)

When did he have a serious lapse in judgement?

That time he was caught in the men's toilets and...er...

Rambo

Well, for a start, Dredd gave him a bollocking for going to him and not the authorities when he was worried about bent judges, as I recall. Hardly inspires confidence...

nathan

There were bent judges in the men's toilets?
