Only girls can get away with that(Short for Georgina,mostly, I think) - your child will be unremosfuly bullied for having such an old fashioned and, importantly, boring name.Give in to Mrs Eyebrows for your potential boy's sake.

Too late to back-pedal now, genius!
As it goes, we were at some parentcraft gubbins last night and were told that George is *extremely* popular for boys at the moment- which is why I will be happy to settle on using it as a middle name instead. If we have a boy. Mrs Eyebrows is convinced that we're having a girl anyway and has been busy picking out girls' names. Her only real preference for a boy's name at the minute is that it not be George!
And Peter, I will not be calling my son 'Timmy' Timson. It's just not going to happen...
