They had their great-granny, Queen Alexandra (missus to Edward VII) to thank for that.

It was those classy Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburgs who saved the weak-chinned, pop-eyed Hanover-Brunswick/Saxe-Coburg Gotha uggos from their genetic fate.

So, do you UK types have King Chuck on your coins or stamps yet?  Shame to replace the profile of Liz in her youth - she was a bit of a looker (though her sister Anne was a stunner in her day).

Quote from: moly on 17 April, 2024, 12:08:45 PMIf been doing that having off loaded over 200 graphic novels and still lacking space

I'm not doing this collection but am still having shelf space probs too. Have done a first sweep of novels I won't read again or CBA (can't be arsed) reading anew. Unfortunately I've inherited my brother's library and there's a good couple of shelf loads I'd like to keep! And my comic pile is boxed under the bed awaiting purging too

Luckily my progs and Megazines find a good home

Dredd fights stage left pursued by Bear, great fun and a good bit of Dreddversity. Liking the new sidekick

I'm also delighted to see Brink back. Talking heads, but talking sense.

Aquila: Thought I'd missed an episode or turned two pages at once, trip tropping along at a fair old pace, nice change of pace from recent slogs in the prog.

Indigo Prime did Edgar Borrow this?

Vex is charging along... not sure where or why, but I'm enjoying the ride.

4/5 for me, with the prog on a major up tick, admittedly from flat lining  :-\

Quote from: moly on 17 April, 2024, 11:46:58 AMJust realised it's over 10 years since the judge dredd mega collection started to be released no wonder I'm running out of space

Not quiet as The Mega Collection was January 2015 (though I suppose it might have been test-run in 2014).

And yes, as someone who bought that collection as well as Transformers and Batman, my shelves are all but spent.
