So E3 has started. And so far the 2 biggest announcements are Halo Collection and GTA V next gen....

I already own Halo 1-4 and GTA V... So they want me to buy a new console so that I can play the games I already own?

Anyone else feeling ripped off so far?

The Enigmatic Dr X

A lot of the press before they were launched suggested that many studios would do "remasters" to make the most of pre-existing assets.

That put me right off

I had to turn off the XBOX E3 app about an hour ankd a half in. Far too much back-slapping and "check out our exclusives, Dude".

Looks like a lot of shit games on the horizon!

Cheers

Sunset Overdrive was about the only thing that really grabbed my attention during the Microsoft presentation. I think it had something to do with the Jet Set Radio feel of the whole thing.

Yeah... cheap remastering tactics... grumble nothing new under the sun...

GTA V next gen....

I wonder if they're holding back new 'story' DLC for the next gen push.

A brand new, gorgeous-looking open world Zelda game?

The return of Star Fox?

Holy shit, the Wii U just became 2000% more tempting...

No Man's Sky does indeed look awesome, though I do wonder how the gameplay will be structured and paced. Looks incredible though - let's have more games like this and less linear 'cinematic' 'games' pls.

Wow!

Those announcements justified my Wii U purchase right there!

And I've got the frankly brilliant Mario Kart 8 to keep me busy until then!  :-)

Yeah, I might have to buy a Wii U...

...in four years time when these games finally see the light of day.  :P

Good things come to those who wait!

Though Zelda's due next year!   :)

That art style, oh my.

Link Between Worlds was a lovely-looking game, but this is next-level.

Nintendo prove once again that artistry trumps pure graphical processing power every time.

Yes. OPEN WORLD ZELDA and all that Smash Bros stuff have me reaching to my wallet, realising it's empty, putting my wallet back and instead just rubbing all the skin off my face with glee.
