I don't have any problem with this interpretation of Dredd's uniform. If anything, it seems more practical than most, in that the visor is actually big enough for Dredd to see through. In most versions, you have to assume that Dredd is either half-blind all the time, or else the red bit is actually see-through in one direction.

I wish publishers would move away from this idea that children want all their art to be cartoony and dull! We had Russ Nicholson doing our books when we were growing up and it never did us any harm (*suddenly spasms and drools*).

I hadn't realised there were different artists on different countries' editions, so if I buy Assassins I'll have to be careful I get the right one! Balla's art is good.

That's a great cover!

Hale probably reminds him of his brother at the same age.

Aah, ignore me, I've just noticed his signature on it!

That only proves that someone thought it was Dillon's work and lent it to the exhibition. It doesn't look anything like Dillon's style at all, and I suspect it was there by mistake.

I think I might give that book another go. I don't really remember it at all, but I love McKenna's art.

The current publishers of FF have announced a new sequel to Deathtrap Dungeon, The Dungeon on Blood Island, by Ian Livingstone and KrisztiĆ”n Balla, the artist on Assassins of Allansia!

I think that's Carl Critchlow.

Not really, it's fantasy. We already have Feral & Foe, for instance.

I thought that was a pretty decent Rogue Trooper story.

Noam Chimpsky was fun, but I don't think I need any more talking ape stories, it's been done to death (by him and others). I'd rather see Niemand doing new stuff.

I'm not saying any of those criticisms are wrong, but I think those stories are better than that!

Niemand is probably my favourite current writer on Dredd after Wagner.
