General / 2000ad covers - song inspired
01 July, 2010, 10:02:58 PM
Hey

remember back in the early eighties when Nemesis first appeared, Pat Mills said he got the idea for the story "going underground" from the song of the same name by the Jam. There have been numerous 2000ad prog covers before and since with reference to song titles, bands and artistes and numerous bands have been inspired to write toooons about toothy characters.
I was just wondering if any of you guys have an appropriate or original song title which could be used for any appropriate cover of the galaxies greatest, plenty of songs and progs to pick from...any ideas?

Help! / Original artwork - authenticity
29 September, 2006, 12:02:46 AM
Hi
I've purchased some original 2000ad artwork over the past few years, directly from artists or on ebay. I believe that the pieces bought from some of the artists are original as I have signed confirmation's that it is their work...but..there are a couple of pieces in particular I suspect could be scammed artwork and am interested in your views on both of these items. One is an apocalypse war double spread by Ezquerra and the other is a black and white Judge Death 2000ad cover by Frazer Irving. Any relevant info on any of this or related original toothy artwork would be much appreciated. Cheers
