Wait, since when can you draw like Philip Bond or Evan Dorkin (and was there more than a touch of Eisner in the final panel of page 2?), as well as everything else?  We need to see more of this in 2012.

I'll take ALL of that, thank you!

Wife has said "why can't you draw like this more often" and my answer is "because no-one will pay me to do so". (I'd love it if they would, I drew those 3 pages in one 8 hour burst, could probably get four or five done per day...)

Cracking stuff PJ, would love to see your Dredd in that style.

All the best

It's all right, that's in every contract.
That's what they call a sanity clause.
You can't fool me, there ain't no sanity clause.

ha, nice review. Loved the artwork numbercruncher PJ, definately my favourite strip of 2011. Look forward to seeing your work in 2012!

Emperor

Good stuff and I have now seen the junk of 2010 and 2011, which I wasn't expecting.

200 pages on 2 days and nights a week? That is pretty damn impressive.

And I agree with TB - I'd like to see something in that style if the right script comes along.
if I went 'round saying I was an Emperor just because some moistened bint had lobbed a scimitar at me, they'd put me away!

I get left alone to work Monday/Tuesday (with the caveat that my wife is usually home and doesn't drive and the kids are home in the afternoon) and then, through the week, I can steal enough time at night to get something done. Some days I hit two pages per day, sometimes I'll go weeks trying to salvage one page.

Still, it's not bad going. Would love to get somewhere closer to 400 and I think it's actually achievable - that 3 pager took from around 2ish PM to 2PM.

locustsofdeath!

The Robocop/Arnie bit was hilarious!

Darren Stephens

Really enjoyed that. Also, yep. Love that looser cartoonier style. Very nice indeed.
