QuoteThe council apparently imposed strict sound restrictions on the Cooper's Field venue following a Florence and the Machine gig.

Am I the only one who sees something really wrong with this..?

If you mean that the sound restrictions should have been imposed on the venue BEFORE the Florence And The Machine gig then yes i do see something very wrong with it.

Such a stupid name for a band as well.

Well, I was thinking more that it was Florence and not, say, Megadeth...

Well seeing as they didn't form until 86 they must have been super shit in 85.  :P

I'm so hungover even my hair aches. Great gig though.

Maybe it was 86 or even 87. my memory isn't what it used to be . I may try to dig out the stub just to see the actual date, and I think they were super shit.

Peace is a lie, there's only passion.
Through passion, I gain strength.
Through strength I gain power.
Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken.

Cool way of looking at it.

Today was made even better by watching mini-fish playing Burt in the school performance of "Mary Poppins".  I was so proud I was nearly bursting.

I got a load of DVDs and books from Bou for my birthday. I was amazed at how every single one I opened was something I wanted... it took me a long time to figure out that she was not magic at all- but had merely looked at my Amazon wishlist...

I won a thousand pounds worth of Co-op holiday vouchers, free transfers and use of the executive departure lounge at last Friday's work do, two days before I was due to finish work. Not a bad leaving pressie, as it goes...
