Has anyone tried making one of those (what I still think of as Michael-Jackson-style) morphing videos on the complete Egon Watson oeuvre?  Where the face and rictuslike grimace stay (roughly) the same, and the food, shirts,background and waistline shift sickeningly around?

Aw I was reading that and thought I was getting an invite! I work for Aviva based Norwich so have the chance of coming down more often - something that I'd previously resisted - will be keener now that I know it's not all tractors and cow shit.

Thanks also for the positive comments on a thread that could be seen to be a bit self serving and irrelevant. Still what else is the internet for? (apart from porn).

Not really a holiday but it is in Germany (probably). Yes it's Octoberfest at the fine West Brewery. Here I am having a fine meaty goulash - this bad boy was a meal in itself.



This year there was no pre-order and over the oom-pah band I could hardly hear the options so went for the schnitzel which to me is a but of chicken deep fried in breadcrumbs. Not here - this was a flattened pork steak covered in mushrooms. I'm no fan of fungi but at least it came with chips.

Haha I weigh plenty thanks! Presently on a diet, Friday notwithstanding. At 14st 11lb with a target of 13 stone - gonna be a long winter!

I was in Korea, WORK thing, they took for me dinner, and served me with
LIVE OCTOPUS with a raw egg yolk. an exotic and respectful traditional dish.

they take the octupi? (SP) bang its head and slice it up, the legs are not yet aware its dead, they crawl sliver and generally resemble Klingon Gak.
