Song of the Surfer marks the moment I first realized 2000ad had hit it's teen years, and for a little while 2000ad and I grew up together. Maybe 2000ad needed therapy more then I did, maybe it didn't, either way its as integral a part of my childhood as summer holidays and angst poetry.

This is also my first crack at using Illustrator...

Cliff Robinson is upsettingly good sometimes

Ideas bankrupt Hollywood executives and a vain star brutally gand rape everything good out of Dredd with a relentless parade of tired clichés and unfunny jokes.

(one tweet Can't really express how poor a film Judge Dredd was or how my low expectations became that strangest of combinations, vitriolic boredom.)

Off Topic / Re: Fit Club

I started back at the gym after the bad weather, (I just don't like walking to or from the gym in rain or snow so I tend to put on winter weight and I was rubbish at keeping fit last year so I was carrying an extra tyre as it was.) going twice a week eating less. I would need to work a lot harder to get into Lou Diamond Phillips shape but I'm happy with my progress.

3rd place, not bad.

Well Done IATS and Dog Deever.  I'm already sharpening my pencil for the next one.

1: IAMTHESYSTEM (I would buy this comic!)

2: Dog Dever (waiting for the crossover where he has a fight with captain America)

3: The Legendary Shark (who knew cave men had their own version of the I-pad)

HM: Kowalsky

Adrian, I have tried the photomontage thing in the past, it always looks too posed and static. I'm not above using a draw over of photo or 3d reference for the odd background but for people I think it just doesn't work.

The more versions of 'cycle of violence' I see the more I'm tempted to have a stab at it myself.

IAMTHESYSTEM that is brilliant! So good in fact it's worth more than one exclamation mark!!!!

I do like Pulp, both fantasy and crime. Sleeper and criminal being two excellent mainstream examples of modern pulp noir writing.
I'm interested in contributing something.

Thanks Everyone  :)
Normally I'm rubbish at cover Images, (I have produced some rubbish for Massacre for Boys)   who would have thought all I needed to do was nick some one else's idea.  I'll know for Issue 4 of the Walking Wounded.
