Leads to a click through site so be careful

Reddit is full of these T shirt sellers every few weeks & fed up of reporting them as the mods there ignore myself & others that report them.

Anyone ordered from Zavvi this year within the last few months and actually got their orders?
I ordered a Star Wars black series figure that was in stock, took me a month+ to sort out get a refund, it was left at the picking process for 2 weeks & they just kept emailing we know there's a delay we are working on it, understandable to me because of Covid with delays etc but when they eventually cancelled my order they said Thats they didn't receive stock & that was the reason for cancellation, shame then that it was advertised in stock & not on back order or pre order.

On trust pilot when I looked up reviews, surely must've been a one off? but there was a lot of people stating that they hadn't received orders & were still they assume understaffed since covid & now couldn't cope with getting stock nor couldn't cope delivering peoples orders. All hearsay of course

Completely understandable because of Covid BUT if they are that overwhelmed it would be easier not to overwhelm them with more orders & potential cancellations from myself so that they can clear their backlog from Christmas and therefore I ask

Is there anywhere else in the UK I can order these from? I have checked Amazon almost daily as the 2000ad article stated will available on Amazon but nothing for pre order in the UK

I think £20 is roughly the same price as the Star Wars Black series right? so I'm not sure if that's good or bad for these then? They look all right going by online comments of the other non Dredd figures but does that mean the 7inch ones will cost like £30-35?

Ahh thanks for the input the reason I brought it up in the first place as not only had it been wiped on wikipedia.org

But also fandom wiki which is a separately owned site owned by fandom entertainment (not wikipedia.org) but also edited by fans in the same way, also similarly wiped but not as much as Wikipedia.

Also he mentions something about the barney too

The account that put up the fansite only appeared on Reddit https://www.reddit.com/user/judgedeathfiles
Within the last 24 hours

And registered the name Judge Death Casefiles .co.uk as a website, just making sure newbies wouldn't think it was an official rebellion owned site.

Finally my concern was he'd direct traffic there since it was now missing from the free sites, whilst his fansite currently has no adverts my thought was there was nothing stopping him adding adverts once he gets enough traffic, possibly using his own content plus if he just copy pastes stuff from both those sites & barney then thats a bit cheap.

If it is all original content created by him though then thats cool.

But now I have more information since I first posted, it seems it may just be a genuine passionate fan piece of work with no ill intentions, lets hope so.

Particularly Judge Death page was quite extensive on Wikipedia considering.

Not sure if it was damaged by a fan who is attempting to set up his own sites starting with http://www.judgedeath.co.uk/

Since it seems to be removed by an anonymous person last active 4 days ago & it was a decent resource for newer fans, looks like they started with one and have been slowly trimming down the other dredd related pages pages to suit themselves, if their end goal is to make money off previously free information they can sod off

But if it has been removed by someone officially which would be fair enough, especially if there was something new Official coming then that would be great.

But to be honest it looks like the information has been taken & deleted by one person to bring attention to their own site.

But also the same seems to be happening on the fandom wikia too, wll those months maybe years of content put in by hard working fans gone.

Shame this film never happened. :(

I tried searching but couldn't see it. He shared it on Twitter for DayofDredd, I am probably so late to the party on this but it's the first time I am seeing it.

There are reports that Deadpool might be repackaged to appeal to the PG13 market. Disney wants family-friendly fare rather than Adult material to sell to the masses. Rebellion is not Disney, but you could see the possible insistence amongst some investors to 'lighten' the tone of Judge Dredd. Tough call, money if you make your product more appealing. However, Garth Ennis's 'The Boys,' now considered a success must prove there's a market for more Adult orientated material. Megacity One strikes me as an almost perfect reflection of current-day America, where Security fears dominate all thinking. That might prove to be both any programmes appeal and its problem. The 'good guys' wear black, shoot to kill and defend a society where an elite have banned Democratic accountability. That might prove disagreeable in the long run, but maybe like GoT they can show that most stories have more than one side to them. The extremism of the Judges came about by Democracy's failure, and like any system, the Justice Department is subject to change and reform.

Preacher too, although on it's last season the whole thing was quite loaded with Adult content for sure.

From humperdoo to Arseface, all the gore, drug use, Violence, offensive imagery etc.

It wasn't mr H reviews neither the one I mentioned upthere ^ sorry folks, I got my wires crossed, still there is someone with a high subs count, posting a load of nonsense, panicking his audience & casual passby viewers with a lot of stuff like "Oh no the script is rewritten, this is bad news" etc like I said I tuned out when I got to that part and came here to check the boards knowing it was full of crap, since even major Hollywood blockbusters have script revisions etc

Quote from: Frank on 06 August, 2019, 10:52:13 PMJason Kingsley confirmed to him that 'things' (presumably the screenplay, maybe also the series outline) have been 'completely rewritten' since last year's announcement.
Which, in case anyone starts freaking out, is also extremely standard when it comes to new shows and pilots. What you see in the screen often ends up barely resembling the original pilot script.

Some YouTuber has already done that & started panicking the casual audience of about 20K people already  ::) & apparently according to the comments the YouTube video they have been informed the show is going to be woke & appeasing to the sjw crowd & people arguing over it in his comments  (I didn't watch all his video as soon as he started his panicking out over the script Photo I stopped watching)

There's a Youtube video doing the rounds which claims a 'MASSIVE UPDATE' on the show.

Needless to say, it's nothing of the kind, just a regurgitation of the facts and passing off observations the guy's read by Steve and Joe (here or on social media) as his own deductive reasoning.

Which is shameful shit, especially as he does have something like one piece of genuine news - Jason Kingsley confirmed to him that 'things' (presumably the screenplay, maybe also the series outline) have been 'completely rewritten' since last year's announcement.

That's it. Now go ahead and post the video anyway, because you never bother to read the thread.

Seen that piece of trash video if it's the one i'm Thinking off, I refuse to repost it to give it clicks, since it talks a load of rubbish & at 20k views giving misinformation to the general casual audience doesn't help their perception of how things are shaping up, infact any negative press like that likely informs the casual viewer to stay the hell away from it until they catch it many years later on dvd or if tv picks it up when it is finished & then moan about it being cancelled & how they wish they saw it at the start  :|

Much like the 2012 film really (just the people who say they wish they saw that film in the cinema)

Casual audiences tend to believe these rubbish Youtubers for some reason, I admit I had been worried myself but when you look into things properly you understand the situations better & also I am not a YouTuber who misinformed a Large audience though neither.

Can't believe I didn't just look at the board properly.

I know there was a period in the 90's that isn't fondly remembered by some as a good time for 2000ad.

although that's when I got into it myself 13yrs old in 1995 after the movie - for about 2 years I think, I cannot even remember the last story I read, I just stopped buying 2000ad & the Megazine one day in about 1997 although I feel like I remember thinking some of it was underwhelming. I actually stopped because I was about to start my final year of school with my GCSE's & also I got into other hobbies.

What was the turnaround point for you? I'd love to know more about that era, like why did you stay with it all the way through, did you not mind it, but felt it could've been better?

Was it one specific prog where it felt like a fresh start?

What was the first big story then after that turnaround point that you knew Dredd & 2000ad was back on course to being the best again.

Is there a general consensus on what was considered the turning point or is it different for everyone?

General / Re: Wondering about the Dredd TV series

Fingers crossed for anything on Dredd day/month in Sept.

A cast announcement even if it's just one actor, or more concept art or news if it's going into preproduction in 2020, anything at all really.

Difference was when 2012 Dredd was released they were hoping enough time had passed for people, the general public had enough time to forget Sylvester "Removes his Helmet" Stallone.

This time around it will be not far from Ten years away by the time everything is done and on our TV screens but NO ONE wants to forget about Karl "Dredd" Urban. They should really strike while the Iron is hot that's why it's a shame it's not on our screens already, whilst you have the public interest and while it's still in their minds fresh that's when you should capitalise on getting the next thing going, it's only a shame the distance between wanting a sequel & not getting it & thinking about a TV show took so long.

My biggest Fear is what if by the time the TV show is aired no one cares enough even if it's really good cos they are too busy with Disney plus with all their Star Wars and Marvel Shows Etc? to add yet another Comic book show into their lives? So 3 seasons & then it's cancelled 😑

But at the same time we don't want it rushed and it turns into a disaster.

Thinking of Blade Runner - another Classic that built up a huge Cult following on home release, so when the Sequel came out I expected it to do gang busters at the box office, it did not.

That said, how much is a digital sub, and what would be viable for a Rebellion service? If you're already paying £10 for PDFs, would you pay the same for a Netflix-style sub (which removes 'ownership' but would give you current issues, back issues, and possibly also Treasury content)?

Throw in the Rebellion TV shows in the future & rebellion games, any novel published Dredd or non - dredd & 2000ad, any audiobooks they have as well.

Close to what Disney already offer in the UK Digital service i.e not that much really, especially as they are limited with the tv shows, always a season or 2 behind since they allow sky the rights. They charge £4.99 per month

but disney plus is going to be 10 to a 100 times bigger probably.
