Well I suppose there is no guarantee that everything was published in order, or if something is a reprint. However, my guess is he either tried a different style as he thought it might be more marketable or someone was monkeying around with the inks. Something to ask him in the interview perhaps... I know I;d be interested ion his thoughts about his artistic inspirations and how his style has developed over the years (or formative years ;) ).
