Had a look at the latest Sci-Fi Now in Smiths and they had a 1 & 2/3 page article inside near the front.

I quickly took in the three pics -
1 - Dredd firing as he comes up the stairs.
2 - Dredd & Anderson coming out the block with the city in front.
3 - The Dredd teaser poster

The write up was not very informative but stuff we have known for months and so decided that £4.80 was not leaving my pocket.
I did notice that EMPIRE had only one copy left

I then moved 2000 AD from the bottom shelf and covered a load of mags higher up at eye height  :D

For you, CF.

Sorry it blur as it was preview of Sci-Fi Now latest issue I scanned.

There's also a longer article about what went wrong with the '95 film in the back of the magazine. But as we already know what went wrong thought it best to save the pennies.
Maybe there'll be a longer feature next month just prior to the movie's release.
I think SFX has a feature planned for issue 226.

I didn't get that far, as this short article put me off. I may have a look when I pop down the town another day!

I was flocking through Empire in Smiths and, as usual, I moved a prog up from the dingy bottom shelf to right next to Empire. I also left the Empire propped open on the first double page spread from the Dredd article.

New Total Film has Dredd on the cover. It's same pic as the Empire non-subscribers cover from last year.

Karl Urban talks to Total Film, in new Total Film mag out tomorrow;

Confirming the film's brutal credentials, Urban offered, "It's not a film for bed-wetters. It's the perfect antidote to a lot of the superhero films that have come out in the last year or two. This is edgy. Really violent. Quite often in the comics there were graphic portrayals of missing limbs and splattered bodies. We don't pull any punches."

Just about to read it and it starts with an 8 out of 10 on the Excite-O-Meter, which is good :D

There's a Dredd competition in the back!

Pity it's to win the following -

Ultimate Urban Cop Experience.
The winner will be taught techniques used in hostage rescue situations and shown how to use blank firing pistols, as well as assault and rescue tactics. The session ends with a staged vehicle hold-up situation where they will descend on a gang's van or stolen security truck to rescue a hostage unharmed.
Five runners up will each get an Odeon cinema pass.

I'd pay good money just to see you tell them how to do it.
