An internet user has been found guilty of what police said was Britain's first "web rage" attack.

After he was arrested, Gibbons was found to have boasted about the attack in a chatroom.

"It went perfectly to plan," he wrote.

Um, but not really, did it ... what with being arrested and all.

Actually, I was explaining how I had keyed someone's car, and you interjected by saying that you wouldn't be bothered if I beat the shit out of you, but if I keyed your car then you'd hunt me down like a rabid dog. Then we got distracted by the funny-coloured annual.

Anyway, the point is that it's all Molcher's fault anyway.

What do you reckon? I usually either just take it and goff to cry in a corner somewhere for an hour or destroy the enemy with my devastatingly sarcastic and intolerably smug regular personality.

Well, on the one occasion where I felt like I was being targeted by a troll, I used the handy phrase "Why don't you go and fuck yourself?".

Seemed to do the trick and I would use it again.

I don't go on any other forums though, just here, and we're lucky enough to be relatively troll-free (with a couple of possible exceptions).
