The Legendary Shark

It would be easy enough to create a basic DVD ISO for people to download and burn themselves.

Yes, but then it would not do any good for charity.

Regardless, we're a way from this, and I for one am exhausted having been regularly working until 2am for the past month or so finishing Minty, and still working on tweaking shots for Thought Bubble.

So I am going to disappear off the boards for a bit as I need a break from it all.

Apart from getting Rebellion's approval, there's also the matter of how many discs are made.

We don't know really how many would sell, and it would be pointless to spend a large amount upfront and be left with loads unsold, especially when it goes online.

COMMANDO FORCES

I've said it before and I'll say it again, "read the directors blog" as this covers nigh on everything! These guys have worked extremely hard to get this ready for this week and it's cost them money, as well as time and effort.
If you've never been to a con, then perhaps you should give it some serious consideration, as for the time being that's where you'll see it!

To be brutally honest, it's very easy for people to come up with idea, especially for other people to do.

Very true.  You've obviously put an enormous amount of effort into this, then even more in a last final burst.  I think we're all very thankful for the fantastic work you and the Minty team have done, and any comments here are just of the "if I could have all my wishes" variety, or meant humorously.  I don't think anyone is expecting you to chain yourself to a computer again to do more on this project.  We're just all fired up wanting to see it.

Any plans for it to be screened in Cal-Hab?  At Hi-Ex? Or sooner?
Be excellent to each other. And party on!

That would be good and it could be for a charity donation too.
Dumb all over, a little ugly on the side.

Steve Green

We haven't sorted out any concrete screenings beyond thought bubble

nicklambo

Well you're welcome to come round mine Steve...... :D

Steve Green

I'm sure we can sort something out Nick...

That is one of the most beautifully painted miniatures I've ever seen.

Tiplodocus

What Certificate is it, btw?

(That's a gorgeous figure - I couldn't paint an Action Man that well, let alone a miniature)

It doesn't have an official certificate yet.

At a guess, it's somewhere between a 12A and a 15 for violence.

Steve wants to get it certificated properly for exhibition.

Steven Sterlacchini

Yep, until it's certified, most events will run it as an 18. Plus the screening room at Thought Bubble is in a casino, so 18 anyway.

Like Steve says, we're thinking it might around 12A, 12 or 15 when certified.
