<cynic>I do wonder if half the reason Rebellion has decided to go for it is the price these issues are attracting.</cynic>

I don't have a drinking problem.  I drink, I get drunk, I fall over.  No problem!

Apologies for the spam/necroposting combination here, but I'm having a big ebay sale to help relieve a cash-flow emergency and there's a large amount of 2000AD content in yesterday's first batch that might be of interest for bargain hunters. Particularly some stuff that took me a while to get hold of and I've seen threads from people doing the same, like Durham Red and The Volgan War hardcovers. Thanks for looking!

Because no-one shouted at me last time, I'm paying the rent with comics again:

A full quarter of the Judge Dredd Mega Collection, a complete set of Strontium Dog books, both Ro-Busters hardcovers, most Rogue Trooper... (and some Alan Moore Absolute volumes)

thanks for the indulgence, sorry for the spam.

It was mentioned in another thread, but there's an eBay account called Cash for partworks doing some really good deals, if you want any of the bundles they have. There are some Dredd ones in the mix for 25 quid (so £2.50 per book), along with Marvel and some other stuff.

Not so much a heads up about what I've seen, or a linkie to some glorious offer, rather this is an eye opening to opportunity.

See my re-read has arrived in 1987 and coming with it some adverts for Speakeasy. That got me slipping down memory lane and I thought I wonderer if I can pick up a few issues on the cheap as I used to love that magazine. So I checked on eBay.

Bloody hell if you have any old issues get gathering dust get them up for sale. A fiver each for the cheaper ones!... I daren't look for old issues of Comics International!

Crikey. I too loved the mag and only last week was doing a mini-inventory. Pretty much have those issues listed (#100 isn't cheap!), back to the bog paper format, and made a mental note to re-read them if time ever allows. Good memories  :)

They are a goldmine of info too, great reads. If you do fancy a read of old zines, David Hathaway Price' online zine library is a must read. https://davidprice5.wixsite.com/classicukcomicszines
