Anyone ever noticed the similarities between troopers and the VC's. I like Troopers a lot, but some scenes like the bug meteor blowing up the guys home city (in the original VC's Smith's home town is attacked by Geeks) and the final attack on the hidden bug planet ( the climactic attack on the Geek hidden galaxy in VC's) are very familiar.

And it wouldn't be too surprizing as it was Paul Verwatsit who also ripped off Dredd with Robocop.

How about Dredd when completely out-numbered and out-gunned :

'Come quietly or there'll be trouble'

I think that was from a really early prog, but then Paul Verwatsit stole it for Robo-cop.

I never really saw the point in Telguuth, but I've certainly got nothing against Siku's art.

Ron always drew fantastic Uglies, but his women always looked cross-eyed and weird. And I never really liked his Mega City One. Great Uglies though...

Funnily enough, thats pretty much how I imagined it would have been.

No, think about it...Famous cities and landmarks in ruins, a great non-PC character running about with a shot-gun, dodgy european-nazi types. I think it has all the makings of a top game. They should stop mucking about with Dredd vs. Death - I'd rather be Bill Savage any day of the week.

I'm just reading some old progs and noticed that I'm missing 46. Can anyone fill me in as to what happened when Dredd went to see the mysterious Mr. Moonie? And what happened at the end of Mach One vs. Mach Zero?

And does anyone else think that Invasion would make a fucking excellent first person shooter? If played for laughs I reckon it could really work, and would attract more than just 2000ad fans. Is the world ready for the return of Bill Savage?

I really enjoyed playing Hammerstein...

I thought Bison was okay. Above average anyway. Which seems to be the case with most 2000ad strips. At least as regards scripting...
