whilst at LSCC I was talking to the guys from BHP comics & they are looking into reprinting Bob the Galactic Bum written by Alan Grant and John Wagner and illustrated by Carlos Ezquerra.

To get around copyright problems they are looking at changing Lobo to a new character and it may be in black & white instead of colour as the original series was

If you think that they should reprint this they are asking people what they think of the idea so please contact them to ley them know what you think about this & if you think they should make a second series of Rok of the Reds

The Adventurer

They already made the changes, the altered version ran in the Judge Dredd Megazine from 266 to 273 in 2008. Not sure why it was never collected for a reprint. Though I think that's down to Grant/Wagner/Ezquerra, as they own the rights.

Wasn't this already done when the story was reprinted in The Megazine several years ago?

It's all right, that's in every contract.
That's what they call a sanity clause.
You can't fool me, there ain't no sanity clause.

Wow the possiblity of another series of Rok is pretty damned exciting. Not sure if it shifted enough copies but man I'd love it if it had!

Thus far, my entreaties to have Rok abandon football in favour of the heady delights of county cricket have failed to move Wagner's cold, black heart.

The seasonal switch to cricket was always my favourite bit of Roy of the Rovers, along with periodic coach crashes, so I'll add my voice to Jim's.

I could actually imagine a Wagner Grant mini based on the ebb and flow of a 5 day test match... with an Alien super fiend trying to wrangle Rok into some sort of trap quite clearly!
