Does Mega-Miami still exist?

Was it ever mentioned again apart from that Dredd story in the first annual?

I don't think they'll be cleaned up or matte lines removed (I seem to recall there are still some shots in ROTJ which have garbage mattes).

My cynical side expects that they'll do a cleaned up version for any BluRay/H-DVD version witht the excuse that the higher definition requires it.

I would have thought that a cleaned up original exists (or virtually all of it), they just want to bleed it dry.

Well, at least this means I can dump the Laserdisc player that's sitting under the bed along with the huge LD Star Wars boxset.

Not that I was watching them, but I took Lucas at his word and thought I might be able to ebay them to some rabid Star Wars fan.

I don't recall ever finding out which General it was after he's burnt up.

He's disfigured in the game in a crash, but it doesn't happen in the same way as the series.

He looks pretty much like the comic version, but a bit more inflated, like a bee has stung his lip and he's had an allergic reaction, on top of the burns.

Send them to the Holocaust Squad, their need is greater. Might melt though.

Yeah, I just don't get the impression that Justice Dept would be that eager to indulge someone who is basically their property, but seems a bit flakey to be trustworthy.

I know what you mean about Psi-Div, but that mainly just seems to be about letting them go clubbing - as for the Holocaust Squads, well that seems to be more of an incentive to do a shitty job.

Domino's different, more like Armon Gill, I guess.

I think the Hershey/Domino thing is interesting.

Domino's actions are not far removed from that of The Chief Judge's Man, except they are sanctioned by Hershey this time.

I don't know whether this is setting up a storyline involving the demise of another CJ, or at least a conflict between Domino and Dredd.

It does seem a little odd that justice dept would give Domino so much leeway, whatever her abilities. She doesn't exactly seem stable - I'm sure Fluffy the kitten would agree.

Allowing Wally Squad special dispensation to blend in is one thing, this seems a bit reckless. It doesn't seem like it would take much to send her off the deep end.

Maybe it's all going to end in tears...

I didn't notice that the ending mirrored the ending of her original departure until they showed it on DWC. That was a nice touch.

This was one episode that I was most worried about, but I think they handled it well, despite the exploding goop.

Maybe it would have been more satisfactory to have K9 sacrificed by hacking into the computers and fouling the equation which destroys ASH and the batdudes.

I definitely had a lump in my throat, but it was more the initial meeting between SJS and the Doctor that got me.

Overall, I liked it - I thought the part where SJS discovers the Tardis was great.

But, the music... do they really have to keep dragging that choir out?

I think that was tried with the Lawmaster, not sure what the artists' opinions are on having these reference models.

I loved D'Israeli's Sniper Judge in that Meg story.

There are some full colour splashes, but most of it is b/w or grey.

I did wonder if the gray artwork had originally been commissioned as colour, but had to be printed in grey.

Cheers,

I seem to recall that Starlord was going to be full colour throughout and it changed because of the expense.

I wonder how much (if any) of the artwork was created in colour but had to be printed in B/W?

Jim, I've got a few Starlords (not a complete set though) if you want to give it a try.

Cheers

Yeah, I'm not sure about Guthrie's look, it seems a lot clunkier than Slaughterhouse's body.

Maybe Justice Depts' health scheme isn't that great, or they have a job lot of Mechanismo parts to shift.

Games / Re: WHO'S NEXT!!!!!!

The single player version of Battlefield 2 on the 360 works along these lines, you can bodyhop between the different classes of soldier in your squad, and would work excellently in an ABC Warriors game.

What's especially good about the ABCs (from a game POV) is there's a rich background for environments to choose from the various strips.

You could go from the Volgan Wars on 21st Century Earth, through to 21st Century Mars, The Terror Tube, The Black Hole Wastes, The Petrified City on the Overland, Alien Worlds, back to Mars...
