I'm on a roll now!! & no I ain't that tit Scojo!

I'm from Manchester which has a large asian community is certain areas.

In Oldham, the authorities have ask shops/pubs, cars to take down the St Georges cross because it may upset the ethnic community.

Obviously this pisses people off big time as they cannot be patriotic about their country & support their national team. And you wonder why there is racial tension in these areas and people start  turning towards the BMP.

A guy at work is from Glasgow, but has kept his accent.

When ppl say they can't understand him, he replies "You're a c**t" did you understand that?

Just to open this discussion further (If you are from the UK).

When you sign a document asking for your nationality, do you:

A) Say your British, or
B) Say your English/Scottish/Welsh

I consider myself English (& proud of it) before being British. Is that racial or patriotic?

Yes I am a footy fan, but have no hooligan tendencies and do not own a Burberry hat. And yes I did have a tacky flag on my, before some git nicked it!

If you are Scottish, do you consider yourself Scottish before British? Same applies if you?re Welsh. Or are we all part of the same big happy union??

Is it right take a Scotsman/Welshman can say he's Scottish/Welsh, but if you say your English you are considered a member of the BMP

I'm quarter Irish (on my Dads side) and I consider myself English.

How many of you have brown hair and ginger stubble/beard?? Apparently it part of the celt gene. Celts are the only world tride who has this feature.

I have brown hair and ginger siddies/stubble when I can't be arsed shaving, therefore I must be a celt.

I've always liked B Mc. I remember copying the cover of prog 113 when I was 12!!

My god, I've just remembered how good he is. To me his later Dredd is on par with McMahon & Ezquerra.

Leeds sounds good. I'd go with Leeds

Tell you the truth, my last convention was waaaaayyyyy back in 1987/88 when it was UKCAK & Comicon (who remembers them??)

I'll have to get my sketches scanned & uploaded. I remember seeing Brian Bollands first page layouts for Killing Joke he'd brought down. Oh and Glenn Fabry throwing his guts up on a bench at 8.30 in the morning ruff as a bears arse! Ah the memories!

I'd have loved to make it down to Bristol. It sounded like a right laugh. Unfortunatley I've just bought a gaff and am currently morgaged upto the hilt!!

Maybe next year it could be at a more northern location? Manchester would be brill (hint hint) & it's a cracking' night out.

Hi guys, havn't posted for a loooong long time, but have been viewing the forum from afar. Loved the new dredd design comp etc etc.

Just though you may be interested in this. It's a new PC P2P game which should be out in the UK in April/May. A city full of superheroes....sound familiar?? I think Pat Mills & Kevin O'Neill should ask for royalties =p
