I can't help thinking there's a business in there somewhere. Can't Rebellion supply one of your ardent fans with a bundle of comics every month, so you can offer a US-based mail order service?

and i actually have been talking to one of the best online comic shops here in the states and they like my idea a lot. who is there from 2000ad staff that i can put them in touch with ???

wheeeeeee just got a big shipment of missing progs from the uk  (silveracre) now i have filled almost all my holes !!!
annuals from 1979/80/81  starlord ! and a bunch of progs around 1400 which are nonexistent here in the colonies.

much as i hate to say it but dredd needs to be amerikan. big meg being where it is and all.

i found a paperback copy at the london forbidden planet, regular retail but signed by some 20 creators !!
in general a fun read i liked the back story, not so interested in the time line of every damn story arc.

but it did show me what an amazing community has grown around 2000ad and how lucky we are that the mag has survived through all the different publishers.

may there always be a printed weekly prog !!!

p.s. forbidden planet should be FORCED to carry back progs and stop getting bloated over the american dross.

seems that all the usa shops will be closing soon also.
i never shopped there, much too mass market for my tastes.

1. i have 1500+ progs and NO desire to go digital.
2. i do not want a different usa edition
3. getting a sub direct from rebellion is very pricey because of the weekly postage.

cant rebellion get ONE frunting online american shop, progs direct, bypassing diamond ?????
then advertise that place as the american HQ for thrillpower !!!

i've been reading the newsgroup exploits for years and that  seems like a constant tirade between annoying posters.

i was in the u.k. this september and was sooooooooo excited to go to forbidden planet to fill in all the holes in my prog collection, and then got the rude awakening that they no longer carry back issues !!

i almost cried right there in the center of london
but then we went to the bookartbookshop and spent $250 on atlas press books !!
and had a beer with the publisher & warren ellis

just finished "thrill power overdose' and it reminds me what a special magazine it is we follow.
great to have grown up with 2000ad !!

Trying to get progs in the usa has just gotten even harder !
Now diamond (the ONLY usa distributor) is selling 2000ad paks.
they cannot be bothered with a weekly it seems.
most of the online comic shops are quite confused  by paks and are having trouble figuring out the ordering.
heavy ink where i was getting my progs is dropping 2000ad all together along with other shops.
now it has always been REAL difficult to get 2000ad in the usa and seems such a shame, it really seems to be worth while for rebellion to get someone to deal with getting progs overseas to new virtually untouched markets !!!

will there be a dreddcon at the end of 2010 ???
i live in californialand and need to bond with those that read the galaxy's best !!!
