I've never heard anything about this before but according to the article it "almost went to series".

I seem to remember that stop-motion Nemesis figure being used in a video for some goth band I forget the name of in the 80s.  Can you help out here, Mr Campbell?

Iirc it was the 'photo strip' Nemesis used in a Goth video. Can't remember the group though.

That would have been Nemesis by Shriekback although I must point out that Shriekback aren't, and never were, a goth band.

The album from which that track comes is the excellent 'Oil and Gold' which is probably familiar to anyone who's seen the film Manhunter, which uses two or three tracks from the album.

Cheers

Ah yes, that's the vid.

I would love to see what was filmed of that Nemesis animation though. And more stills.

Hmmm, I've seen that Nemesis model somewhere before... to the back progs!

Here you go, from the 1987 Sci-Fi Special, page 24.

The wages of sin are death, but the hours are good and the perks are fantastic.

He could launch a kick-starter and I am sure it would be supported.

I believe Tony used the model a lot in his art as various other creatures.
It's a joke. I was joking.

Brilliant Jack,  I wonder what Tony is talking of is different to that clip?

Except Rebellion do not like Kickstarters started from outside Rebellion Group. Indeed it is one of the few things they regularly say 'nay' to,

Ta for the link. Are these the Goths you meant Jayzus? Surely these ones 'are' Goths Jim? Still want to see more of this. The plasticine Torquemada looks quite Hank Bickford-ish (see the stuff he did with Frank Zappa). Wonder if there's any footage of the Nemesis stuff with dialogue?
