This is the real Colin, the other one was just a facade...

I would happily read a non-violent solo Ukko story illustrated by Angela Kincaid!

Failing that, I wonder if Tharg would commission a Slaine poster or Star Scan from her?

Quote from: Richard on 20 March, 2024, 04:27:13 PMI used to get them on Saturdays. Today I got progs 2373 and 2374 together, and still no Meg.
That always happens to me when my sub renews.

Interesting, mine renewed last month! Hopefully that's all it is.

I did however get impatient and bought 2373 in Forbidden Planet, so if anyone didn't get theirs then DM me and I'll send one over.

That was a great Dredd story by Ken Niemand.

Books & Comics / Re: Whats everyone reading?

I've just finished reading my first Raymond Chandler novel, The Lady in the Lake. I'm not really into murder mysteries either, and I was indeed only reading it because I like the writing style and dialogue. ("I don't like your manner, Mr Marlowe." "That's alright, I'm not selling it.")

I doubt I'll read another, but I'm glad I read that one, and it has made me more interested in watching the films based on his work.

Cue Jim Campbell explaining why it had to be part of the normal prog run for economic reasons...

I won't miss it either, but it will still be a great shame that the experiment failed, as it's imperative that Rebellion continues to sell comics to a new generation of British comics are to have a long-term future.

Agree that "Regened" was a dubious choice of title.

SPOILER WARNING for Judge Dredd: Origins (because it's in the latest Complete Case Files)

Origins ended with Fargo pleading with Dredd to end the system he had created, but Dredd didn't do anything about it then and it wasn't followed up on. Then at the end of Day of Chaos it was obvious to everyone that Justice Dept had failed to protect the city. If neither of those events prompted Dredd to change his views, I'm not sure what else would.
