This one's kind of important (and a bit special to me) because it's the page where - FINALLY - we actually get to meet the main characters. And we get out first look inside the Athena, too!

And I've just noticed that I've posted the wrong version of the page, as well as last week's page having non-uniform black levels. Woo. I am SO careful about this stuff. Obviously. Ah well, I'll fix 'em in due course.

A couple of mildly exciting developments:

ONE: LETTERS PAGE! Yes - I've decided that, after chapter one is finished, I'll be putting the comic on a one month hiatus so I can make a head start on chapter 2. During that time, I'm going to keep the page active with some additional content.

So... I'm sounding the call for letters. Feel free to post me your meanderings if ou're so inclined. I'll put details up on the Facebook page in due course. You can find it here:

TWO: This news will go public on the Facebook page soon-ish. A FULL COLOUR edition is now on the cards!

Broken Goddess Athena was always intended for print. I'm not entirely happy with how the comic is represented in black and white on the main page, and it isn't indicative of the quality of the physical artwork, in my opinion. So I've punted things forward to see if I can make this happen in 2015.

New page went up yesterday - and here's something cool:

I've set up an email address to use as a mailbox for the leters page I mentioned a while back. So, if you haveany missives, you can mail them to bgamailbox@gmail. Please mark all emails with the subject header LETTERS TO BGA.

Letters will be published on the site during the one month hiatus after chapter 1 has wrapped up, and may appear in other editions of the book a way down the line.

And if you want to send booze and wads of money, that's cool too.

Introducing one of several prominent female characters here. You've had a glimpse of her already, but she gets to do (or rather, say) a lot more over the next few pages.

Incidentally, it's getting a bit tough to gauge how much of an audience I have for the comic at the moment. Page views are yo-yo-ing up and down between updates. Page 15 got the highest number since launch day, but page 16's were down to barely 50.

So, if you're digging what I'm doing, please do like and share the Facebook page, sign up to follow the Wordpress page and send in your letters! (Although, make 'em printable, please - I hate censoring folks, and the one letter I've had devolves quickly into comments about women's underwear. Which is... uh... yeah.)

The comic is going on hiatus until June. My current workload is just so heavy that I need to blitz a lot of stuff before I can focus on getting new pages drawn. But it's definitely not going away!
