Hi,
I had the idea that Sláine Psychopom HC was scheduled for the 4th of May but I cannot find it on the webshop. Does the preorder have a dedicated section?
Thanks in advance for a reply.

Hi vark - Sláine: The Brutania Chronicles - Book 3 (Psycopomp) will be released tomorrow (3rd May) and will be available to purchase from here: https://shop.2000ad.com/catalogue/XB608

There was no pre-order for this title

I'd also like a way to toggle the whole store to Show digital pricing/digital content, as it seems to default to print.

Which means if I'm looking at a list of Progs for sale it shows 'add to basket' instead of 'purchased' since I haven't bought a print copy, only a digital one.

We're on that already, the idea being that you will be able to choose to display all content, or filter on just displaying digital or just print content (though things like Clothing and Merchandise will always display), though we'll still indicate when the alternate version is also available (e.g. perhaps by showing that format greyed-out) - this way it will also be quicker to add multiple different products to the basket, as you won't have to select the format each time.

Hope to have this work done in the weeks following Easter, it's a little more complicated to do than you might think, otherwise we would have done this already.
Thanks for the update. I look forward to switching back to the online store instead of using the Rebellion Account portal.

BTW we'll be removing the shop functionality (apart from subscription management) from the Rebellion Account Portal soon, as it duplicates what the 2000 AD shop can do now and it's a headache having to maintain two different code bases.

Hi,

In the 2000AD Rebellion digital shop download section (https://account.rebellion.co.uk/2000ad/download), you can sort your downloads but it would be really nice if you could filter them too. Even just a simple filter like type: {Progs, Megs, Graphic Novels}, would be crazy useful. I've got about 3 years worth of progs and megs in my account so finding a graphic novel that I bought even a year ago can be a bit fiddly.

Just a suggestion :)

Apart from this I actually massively prefer this new digital portal to the old 2000AD shop, so congrats!

Cheers,
Dan

Hi Dan - sorry for the delay in getting back to you, thanks for your helpful feedback. Our next round of improvements to the 2000 AD shop will mostly centred around usability/UX improvements, so any suggestions in this area are welcome. We'll see what we can do regarding the filtering of your Downloads, so that purchases are easier to find.

BTW in the meantime, if you know the name of a digital product you've purchased, you should be able to search for it, and then you would be able to download it from the product page.

We're looking into this, it's to do with the way Apple has automatically increased prices recently. For now there is a workaround, all non-special digital Progs are only £1.99 on the 2000 AD web shop (if in the UK), and any purchases made there will be available to download from within the iOS app, assuming you've used the same login for both. Even Android users can save money this way too.

BTW to clarify, any digital content purchase via the 2000 AD web shop (including content from subscriptions) will be available to download and view in all versions of the 2000 AD mobile app (iOS, Android, Windows 10), if logged in which the same credentials.

Yes, that's what I meant. On a standard web page, you flick and the screen continues scrolling. This isn't anything that's implemented – it just is. So whatever scripting you're using is overriding the default behaviour, and makes the shop feel really weird and 'sticky'. (The net result is the site feels oddly broken on Apple devices, despite looking the part when static.)

Yes, that's what I thought you meant, we should be able to fix this soon, it's not that complicated to do.

Scrolling is weird on iPhone. It works only when you physically drag, which is unlike other websites and feels off.

Hi - do you mean that there's very little "inertial"/momentum scrolling? I think I see what you mean, we'll take a look to see if there's anything we can do about this, I think there may be.

This looks pretty easy to implement, so it's been added to our task list

I couldn't get any further than checkout. When I clicked that icon it went no further...

Hi blixab - when you say "it went no further"  after you clicked the "proceed to checkout" button, what happened? Did it not display the "Review Order" page, or was there some other issue? Was any error message displayed?

If you could send an email to shop@2000adonline.com with more details, including what you were trying to buy, we can investigate this further for you.

Just had another go, this time with something else loaded and exactly the same - doesn't go to the "Review order" page - mail sent.

I've replied to your email. We've had a coupe of other customers report the same, but we can't replicate the problem here, it just works. It may be an issue with specific web browsers, so if anyone is experiencing this, please let us know which (e.g. Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer, Edge) and which platform (PC, Mac, iOS, Android etc.) you're using, as well as whether you have Javascript enabled (should be by default) or any browser extensions/plugins installed.

BTW this is not fixed yet for Safari and Firefox on a Mac yet (we're working on it), but another Mac user who reported a similar problem found a workaround and was able to place an order using the Google Chrome web browser on his Mac – so if you're a Mac user and wish to place an order before we're able to test and roll out a fix, you could just download and install Google Chrome: https://www.google.com/chrome/browser/desktop/

We think we've now fixed the bug that was preventing some people from checking out on the new 2000 AD web shop. It was mainly affecting users on Safari/Firefox on Macs, but was also occurring occasionally on Firefox and even Chrome on PCs running Windows. We've now rolled the fix out to the live 2000 AD web shop.

If anyone does continue to experience any checkout issues, please let us know by emailing 2000ad.tech.support@rebellion.co.uk or shop@2000adonline.com
