Bella Bagley.  Possibly.  She looks a bit odd in that picture.

Prominent brow ... Slick Dickens?

Would be great if, like some other magazines, Tharg provided subscription copies with no logos or text for this issue.
It looks just too bloody gorgeous to spoil.
I would buy two copies (sub and newstand) and I think it might encourage more people to take out a subscription.

Bolland's identified Marlon Shakespeare's latent Nazi sympathies.

Could she be Bella Bagley?

That's what I assumed. Especially considering Anderson's expression.

I wondered if it might be Inga in the red dress.

The only one I don't recognise is the top right green guy.

I guessed Bagley for the same reasons + proximity to Dredd.

And I saw somewhere the green fella was thought
to be a non 2000AD character and from The Outer Limits ...

Am I wrong or did Howler go down very badly when it was first published? It's brilliant of course and for Howler to be so prominent and so close to McMahon in style, that's such a show of support, Bolland is obviously a fan.
BTW...Howler seems to be about to howl...I'd like to see a follow up picture! ::))

I did wonder if it might be Vienna, what with the well defined chin.

Bella Bagley seems to be the best guess, but I've got a nagging feeling there was a female antagonist who disappeared to the Mongolian exclusion zone or something.

I can't even remember whether she had blonde hair or not.

I'm going to be a dissenting voice and say I prefer the Weston incarnations.  The Digital Bolland inks have just become too stiff for me to really love.  It's still a magnificent cover mind, should shift a pile of extra copies, and I'm very pleased to see it.

Still puzzling over tooth-lizard and 'Bella Bagley'.

The Outer Limits, the architects of fear apparently.

No idea why though...

What an amazing image. I don't envy PYE-01's job of trying to figure out where to put the logo. Another "cortex-melting attempt" I fear.

Hmmm, that's the episode that Watchmen, errr, riffs on isn't it?  Some cheeky Moore dig going on there (given how many OC&Stiggs DR & Quinch characters were on the original cover)?

Walter's 'It's totally awesome. Man!' badge gives this theory extra credence.

As for the lady in red, do you think she's supposed to be Vienna?
Raised in the wild by sarcastic wolves.

Previously known as L*e B*tes. Sshhh, going undercover...

It's all right, that's in every contract.
That's what they call a sanity clause.
You can't fool me, there ain't no sanity clause.

Since none of the other (shite) suggestions are 'ladies' with long blonde hair and prominent bosoms, and none of them have ever been depicted wearing a red dress, I declare myself to have won the internet.
