Techy question for art droids and spods alike.

My mum was sent an offer by Serif for a cheap graphics tablet, and I wanted to know if you reckon it's any cop, cos I want one & can't afford a Wacom.

It sez here:

The thing is, fifteen quid seems a bit cheap for a decent tablet, but I don't know word one about this stuff. I've looked on Google, and it seems OK (apparently it has a usable area of 4.5x6 inches, which is bigger than the Wacom Graphire), particularly for the price, but fifteen quid for a piece of junk still gets you a piece of junk, right? Anybody got any advice?

So then, it's been a bit quiet on this front lately.
Anyone heard anything about the new (probably straight-to-video) Dredd movies?

Just got back from seeing Pitchshifter at the Liverpool Academy. They were pretty damn good, which is a shame, as it's their last tour. However, I thought you might be interested to know they have a PSI/2000ad t-shirt on sale featuring artwork by Cliff Robinson. It features a certain granite-jawed lawman holding a sprog in a Pitchshifter romper suit, with a sucker dart stuck to his helmet. Ace!

Huzzah! I've finally joined the 21st century & bought a DVD player. I just need some DVDs now...

I want to buy the X-Men 1.5 DVD, but I'm not sure whether to go for the Region 1 or 2 version. I'm not entirely sure what difference there is (if any) between the two. Has anybody got either version? Any recommendations?

So, I got my copy of this month's PC Zone, and there's some pretty darn groovy screenshots from Rebellion's forthcoming Dredd vs Death game. Anybody seen 'em?
