Aw, you really want just one? OK - I'll plug for Indigo Prime as the original Killing Time collection is OOP at the thargshop.

THIS. Really disappointed to discover there was no IP planned for the the collection.

Fantastic news! Will entries to the new comp appear on the forum as well as social media? If not can we start a thread with them. I'm too old and grumpy for social media.

1) Deadworld
2) Brink
3) Absolom

Whilst I don't think we're in the 90's again it's rare Dredd wouldn't be in my top three. Something has gone badly wrong in MC1. Hoping things will pick up in 2018.

General / Re: What would be your dream Prog?

Personally I'd be much happier if a prog arrived on Saturday morning with the best of the new thrills than endless re-hashing of past glories. My dream line up would be:

Dredd (Wagner + Flint)
Brink
AND Brass Sun
Helium
Fall of Deadworld (well suited to last strip in the prog)

If I had to pick my least favourite line up, the current prog would be a good starting point. Greysuit is particularly dire.

1. Andy Lambert - Mills & BOOM!!
2. Anthony Coppin - Blackblood & Hammerstein
3. Leigh S - Comic Rock

Well, Andy's irritatingly good entry early on int he month put me off entering this month. A very hard act to follow, hats off to everyone who tried. Bring on August!

Yup, I agree it's a gem. I'm finding the new run easier to follow than the first too. That would be my only minor criticism, the first run was quite hard to follow in places.

I know the art won't be to everyone's tastes, but I think the muted palette and free style of painting are very evocative.

Very tricky month, so much good shizzle on display. I have re-arranged the top 3 enough times to say they are all worthy winners, but my gut feeling was:

1. MikeD - Caballistics Inc
2. James London - Ampney Crucis Investigates: The Dark Judges
3. Leigh S - The Haunting of Sector-House 9

HM Anthony Coppin - Torquemada
HM Uwe De Witt - Tarot
HM Dog Deever - The Nessymonster

I've changed my mind over the top spot a few times but Woolly just pipped it for me. I wish I could draw like that.

1. Woolly - Forty Years, Creep!
2. Andy Lambert - Celebrate or Else!
3. Leigh S - Forty Zarjaz Years!

Wow, that is lovely, Woolly. Dredd is just perfect, the big boots and gloves, just wonderful.

I envy anyone who hasn't read Leviathan because they still get to experience it for the first time.

I bought it based on a recommendation from this board and it's one of the best 2000ad stories ever.

1 Neil McClements - I am the Laaahh! - Would love to see Neil's work in the prog!
2 Goaty1 - Bite on This! - yellow knuckles on the gloves - controversial!
3 IAMTHESYSTEM - Steve Dillon

HM Uwe de Witt - Dillon Tribute
HM Adrian Bamforth - The Long Walk

I think Andy Lambert's entry was great too, but seems to have gone awol.

Prog / Re: Prog 2009: The Cannibal Run

As above a couple of pages of mine were smudged very badly.

Overall an enjoyable prog with a really great Future Shock.

Flesh and Savage both feel like deja vu every week to me, which is a shame because the art (particularly Clint Langley's) is lovely.

This is going to be controversial, but I really don't think Pat Mills has produced a good script in some time. The stories feel very slow and dated to me. Lots of two dimensional anti-hero types fighting generic two dimensional facist states. Maybe it's just having two of them in the same prog, but I just find it hard to care what happens in either.

Great stuff Nic_.

Cheers, IATS. Been too busy with a new little 'un to take part in the comp the last couple of months but didn't want to miss this one, Steve Dillon was one of the best.
