Yeah, you're probaly right. I'd still like one tho. That and the one on the very bottom of the 2000ad t shirts link. That one rules.

whoops, put that twice. I should also point out that i am refering to the rather nice 2000ad logo shirt - you have to scroll down a bit. Are rebellion aware of this, I wonder?

Apparently this, the directrorial debut of Dave McKean, and written by Neil Gaiman, is out in a couple of weeks. So, whats the word? Positive or negative? Think it came out in the states a while back, but I've heard next to nothing about it. Looks quite interesting visually (as you'd expect from McKean), and Rob Brydons in it as well.

Check out the trailer (with wholly inappropriate music)

General / Hewlett's Dredd

Hi there, wondering if anyone can indulge me.
I've often read in bios that Jamie Hewlett was a Judge Dredd artist, yet the only Dredd pic i can actually remember of his was the one of dredd strung up by fink and mean angel (its on the back of my old titan 'angel gang' gn). So, did he ever do any dredd strips? If so, were they any good?

Heh, reading that back has made me realise just how much of my collection is made up of work by ex-2000ad creators.

I would throughouly recommend the works of writer warren ellis, in particular Global Frequency, which has a different artist for each of the stand-alone episodes, including former 2000ad contributers steve dillon, glenn fabry, simon bisley as well as some top notch US illustrators.
Also, if you havent read it, Transmetropolitan.
Also The Authority, a superhero team book, the first two volumes of which are mindblowing, but be warned - the quality of the series drops exponetially in later volumes.
Finally, check out Grant Morrison's 'New Xmen' tps 1-7. Wonderful stuff, and is the only Marvel material i have ever got into. It somehow manages to be accesable to new readers, and also ends with a satisfying conclusion.

"I think it's a given that Brothers of the Blood is included"

Yep, sorry being a bit thick there.
Case files 02 though, eh? 'The Cursed Earth' AND 'The Day the Law Died' in one book (neither of which I currently own)...? Rebellion, you are spoiling us!

Cheers for posting the scans - I'd been wondering how the later case files would look design wise. i expect they'll all be a different colour with a different dredd image from now on. also, brothers of the blood is one i'm really looking forward to. anyone got an idea of the stories collected? i'm guessing - sector house, blood cadet, the one where vienna returns - but after that i'm stumped. i'll also pick up the cabs tp, as i havent read any of it, is it as good as everyone says?
