Went to see Army of Crime a french film about WWII Resistance fighters in Paris. while it was a wee bit over long its well worth a deek, this from the Grundian review:

This is a consistently exciting, morally engaging movie, The scenes of torture, all conducted by willing collaborators, are truly sickening, as in another way are the pro-Nazi propaganda broadcasts that figure regularly on the soundtrack.  This film is a much needed antidote to the inanities of Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds.
