I like both styles Kev used on Khoas and Mandroid. I wish we can have him back in the prog

Hang on... I stopped reading 2000 AD at prog 670, March 1990 (before returning to the fold in 2017). I know it was prog 670 because that's the last prog in the last box in the loft. The wiki says The Final Solution concluded in progs 682-687, but I can definitely remember Johnny Alpha's death. Was there a protracted epilogue, or are there more progs somewhere in the loft that have lain undiscovered all this time..?

Final Solution Part 1 600-606, 615-621, 636-641 and 645-647 (art by Simon Harrison)
Final Solution - Replay 682 (art by Colin MacNeil)
Final Solution Part 2 683-687 (art by Colin MacNeil) - Johnny is killed @ the end of part 27

JWare the 90s was when the prog world really got turned on its head. We all here agree the 80s was golden and it is always more interesting to talk in retrospect why things went haywire :)

A good prog wrapped around by a good cover. 4 hits and a miss. It is a good prog when you cannot for certain tell which story was your favorite.

Dredd – Morbid ending to another good Niemand story. Everything looked like it will work out until that last page.

Joe Pineapples – Mmmmm nice pictures

The Out – This book has been completely focus on the aftermath of Cyd’s Tanikinar experience. The tribunal has cleared Cyd to live her natural life out on the planet. The focus shift to her new life as a holidayer for life and just when we get bored with her Abnett slightly change the focus again. Lovely use of words (please take notice Joe) and nice pictures.

Terror Tales – A good terror tale one of the better ones recently. Short to the point good story good art.

Proteus Vex –  The focus of the story shifted and we now start to see different perspectives of all the factions withing the universe. This is really starting to be an epic an excellent space opera.

I just wish Rebellion had the rights to Doomlord.

That is a pity but I think both John and Alan owns the rights. I would like a treasury complete omnibus

I like the style he is using in Joe Pineapples but does not mind his "photos" in both ABC and Slaine. Now if you look at his work in the current Storm Warning that is even different from the style he using in Joe Pineapples.

The story itself was nothing wrong but just the idea of killing of one of my favorite characters was more the problem for me. I also did not like the idea or even the concept on how Johnny was brought back to life. I preferred the stories that just told me  another adventure with Johnny and Wulf.
