I have lost count of how many versions of that story I own. Here are detailed formal reviews of the two last editions: http://myabsolutecollection.blogspot.com/2016/08/judge-dredd-cursed-earth-uncensored.html

Notice that the two missing covers (#74 and #82) from the HC edition have been reinstalled in the SC version.

I have bought yesterday the French adaptation of the 10th anniversary edition of CCF #1, published by Delirium, and this is a huge book!
It includes a fully detailed summary, and an exclusive 7 pages introduction written by Pat Mills (a completely revised version of his Wordpress blog posts on the origin of Dredd), featuring the Manning strip that has inspired Wagner & Mills to create the character (I think we can thank Joe Soap for this one).

Other Reviews / Ro-Busters Nuts and Bolts Volume 2
17 August, 2016, 09:20:47 PM
Another very nice reprint from Rebellion, including Pat Mills and Kevin O'Neill Inside Story strip from prog 144 (not included in the 2008 complete Ro-Busters).

I was not able to source these two illustrations (I suspect the second one to originate from an annual):

Classifieds / Floppy/GN clear out from France
08 August, 2015, 01:44:17 PM
In case someone oversea is interesting in my listing (lot of Floppies from the 90s + several collected editions), shipping to UK is around 8£ for up to 2 kg (through Mondial Relay). Alternatively, I will be in London Friday and Saturday 25/26th September.

They are listed on a website LeBonCoin.fr (which is the equivalent of Craiglist in the USA I think) with some pictures. These days 1€ corresponds to £0.71, hence £1 = 1.5€. Bargains for multiple purchase of course.
Corresponding links are here: http://myabsolutecollection.blogspot.fr/p/what-i-am-selling.html

I will keep the list updated there : http://myabsolutecollection.blogspot.fr/2015/08/comics-vo-vendre-liste-mise-jour.html

Other Reviews / ABC Warriors Mek Files Vol 02
13 September, 2014, 03:41:40 PM
Here is a factual detailed description of this second volume. The stories inside were my first encounter with the ABC Warriors (translated in French the late eighties by Zenda editions), and it was a blast (funny, vicious, entertaining)!

I have received my copy yesterday and have detailed the content here: http://www.thearchdeviant.org/2014/07/abc-warriors-volgan-war-volume-4-sc.html

It collects material from 2000 AD #1666 (not 1668) to 1677.

I have the first print of the 2010 HC version and I wonder why in my copy covers from 2000 AD #1555 and 1559 are missing.

If anyone's interested here, French awesome artist Olivier Ledroit has just launched his new French series Wika with author Thomas Day, publisehd by Glénat and scheduled for 4 volumes (64 pages each). It is aiming to target less adult oriented audience than Requiem (in other worlds it is less violent, but it's nonetheless unique stuff). The first edition features graphic notes from Olivier. You can have sneak peaks of the art painted pages here http://theevilsnest.com/sources/accueil.php (his work for Wika is currently the center of an exhibit in Paris at Galerie Glénat).
As of Requiem he has already finished the firts 6 pages of volume 12 (out of 13).

After IDW and Graphitti Designs announcement last month (http://www.graphittidesigns.com/ follow the Gallery Editions link), Dark Horse enters the market with a first book (Simonson/Miller's Robocop vs Terminator) schedulled for early July http://www.darkhorse.com/Books/24-423/RoboCop-vs-the-Terminator-Gallery-Edition-HC. It is available to preorder at FP.co.uk (around 64£).

Yesterday, Urban Comics (Dargaud's label for DC titles) has published 5 Batman books to celebrate Batman 75th anniversary: Batman Year One (Année Un), The Dark Knight Returns, Hush (Silence), Dark Victory (Amère Victoire) and Night of the Owls (La Nuit des hiboux). These are exclusive hardcover B&W editions, slightly oversized, printed on a very thick mat paper, and with a limited print run of 3000 copies each. Note that TDKR is printed in a mix of pure B&W and some shades of grey.

It's a VERY long shot but, will be happy to trade Alan Moore's Fashion Beast #1 lettered edition "H" (limited to 26 copies), signed by Alan Moore, Anthony Johnston & Facundo Percio with an exclusive colored sketch by Facundo Percio on the cover for either the Neonomicon Hardcover, limited to 200 copies, signed by Alan Moore and Jacen Burrows or Light of Thy Countenance Hardover, limited to 350 copies, signed by Alan Moore and Felipe Massafera (will of course pay the initial retailer price differences, knowing that fashion Beast #1 was sold for 65£).

Other Reviews / Sláine The Horned God UK reprints
04 December, 2013, 07:04:48 AM
I have tried to make a complete review of The Horned God GN published in UK since 1989 here: http://myabsolutecollection.blogspot.fr/2013/12/slaine-horned-god-uk-mandarin-1993.html (the US 2008 hardcover is in another article of my blog), but I still don't have all the information I need for making this article absolutely accurate. For example is the Mandarin special edition was really only sold through 2000 ad shop? What were the prints that come with a dust jacket? .. Of course any kind of information I have missed is welcome!

Titan Publishing has just bought the right to English translation of the French series "La Brigade Chimérique", which is an attempt to resuscitate the French super heroes (or science heroes). Readers of the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen are perhaps familiar with the likes of "The Nyctalop", or "l'Homme truqué", which are heroes who where popular in French pulp magazines before the second WW. They were almost totally forgotten since (if not by the likes of mister Moore). This series creates a sort of French LOEG that was active during the rise of the third Reich and imagine in its epilogue the reason why these heroes had fallen into oblivion since (we also encounter some US or British science heroes of that era like Superman or Andrew Gibberne).
A must read.

I have spotted this on ebay, I think one has to contact the seller to know if he is willing to provide international shipping:
