El Spurioso

Ah...

Without wishing to stir, and without actually being *against* the scanning and reprinting of those pages, have you asked and received permission for all this?

I'm pretty sure it won't matter to anyone, but at the very least it would be polite to check with the owners of the material - Rebellion - that you're offering it free of charge on the Internet.

Just a thought.

I didn't think to,sorry.I don't wish to upset anybody.Do you want me to take them down?

El Spurioso

Well *I* don't.  Like I said, I'm pretty sure you're not damaging sales or whatnot because - as someone pointed out elsewhere - in isolation the pages mean nothing without going out and buying the rest of the story.

But then they don't belong to me, and I'm not the one who has to work all this jazz out.  I'd suggest sending an email to Wakefield at the very least to ask what the official stance on Electronic Reproduction is.  It's a bit of a minefield: repro rights, electronic reprinting royalties, blah-blah-blah, but given that the website carries other strips I don't imagine it'll be a problem in the long run.  Just always best to doublecheck in advance.

Wake

The normal policy is that up to 20% of an episode can appear on a fan website. This thread has 25% of the episode, but I doubt Rebellion would have a problem with it since it means that people who still only have a misprinted copy can now finish a story they paid for.

However, the person to contact for Rebellion's opinion as opposed to my personal one is Robo-Keef.

Cheers,

Wake
