Prof Bear, if that's a serious offer send me a mail and we'll barter.

Hellblazer. I loved the Ennis stuff and enjoyed a lot of Delano, but I haven't bought an issue since Eddie Campbell's end of the world. In fact I don't know how that turns out.

Does this mean no new trades in January? Other than SD, which was originally planned for a December release?

Does anyone else use Youtube for music?

It's the only thing I use it for. Loads of old videos you've forgotten and some pretty onscure stuff to boot. I didn't know Beme Seed had even made a video, far less had it played on a commercial music channel.

A friend of mine who hadn't picked up a Prog for years started buying again at Prog 1500 and - aside from Dredd - his favourite strip has been Dante!

He asked me when it was back and I didn't have the heart to say: "It could be years" so I'm glad he's here again. Based on the solicit threads he's here through Prog 2007 for a month or two. That's the longest run for many along year and suggests that Morrison is trying to give us what we want but maybe has to fit it in around the bill-paying US pish.

Holy shit! I breifly tried writing a schema that could incorporate Strips, series, stories, books, episode titles, etc and gave up in gibbering frustration after one evening.

Good luck to them,

Lily Allen: a face you'd never tire of kicking and the voice of an asthmatic weasel to boot.

"It was hard for my mum bringing us up on her own and struggling to afford three sets of school fees."

"What is 'Yer breeks is mince, pa' in plain english?"

Your trousers are rubbish,father.

A transcription error has occurred: the original quote read "pal", a word ostensibly meaning friend but which is often used to mean precisely the opposite. For example:
"Who d'ye 'hink yoo're lookin' at, PAL?"

Of course, Button's a purely literal, word for word translation and fails to convey the idiomatic sense that Middenface is actually about to malky the bam in question. The derivation here is clearly from the phrase "make mincemeat of", as in:
"The basturt tried tae gie me the tatty masher, so Ah toed ees baws an' made mincemeat oot ae um."

Nice one! Do you by any chance recall the episode where Middenface tells some hapless goon: "Yer breeks is mince, pal"

That's my mum's all-time favourite comics moment.
