Ed Harris would play an INCREDIBLE older Dredd.

Just sayin'.

What a bunch of grumpy old bastards. Enjoy it for what it is! It's getting a good reception elsewhere (I watched it when Adi Shankar posted it to Reddit early) and anything to keep people thinking about Dredd is ultimately a good thing, right?

Having just watched the first few episodes of Superfiend, I must admit I love it. I was really, REALLY worried when the first footage was released that it was going to be a steaming pile of poop, but this is actually rather good! Funny, gory, and very entertaining.

My subscription ran out with 1850, and I will not be renewing. I started buying 2000AD towards the end of the Day Of Chaos story, and then with Trifecta I was thoroughly spoiled for quality reading for the next few months. Since Trifecta ended though, I have found that the only strip I've enjoyed most weeks is Dredd, and even then it's not every week. It's just not pushing my buttons anymore. :(

This, combined with other reasons, for example I'm soon to be a mature student so need to save money,  plus I'm getting more and more annoyed with Pat Mills inability to keep his political opinions out of EVERY SINGLE strip of his I've read, means that I'll be leaving the weekly readership for the foreseeable future.

I'll still pick up Dredd-universe trades and others that catch my eye, it's just a shame that the weekly prog no longer manages to hold my attention.

See ya'll chaps, it's been fun. :)

Wasn't there a really poor review of the film in which the reviewer said that the scene above was Dredd waving as he fell backwards out of a window? :D

If your TV has a 'Theatre' mode try watching it in that, it smooths out the picture alot and makes it look alot better in my opinion. :)

Cracking cover and Dredd story, far and away the highlight of the prog!

75 Mill' does sound like box office + DVD/BluRay revenue, there's no way in Gruds name that's just home entertainment sales.

Good news if it's true! :D

I loved his art in ABC Warriors recently, I think it suits cold, hard mechanical things perfectly, just doesn't look right to me when used for more fleshy stuff (of which there is alot on show this week! :D ).

Can't help thinking that the 'There's going to be an official decision very soon!!!' post on the Dredd Sequel Facebook page a few weeks back was just a complete fabrication though. :(

Four posts before we reach anyone that has even received a prog? Bad form...

I was happy to get my first Saturday prog for weeks, since moving to Southampton they've been coming almost exclusively on a Monday. :(

I got variant one of the cover, it's nice but I'd have preferred variant two for the wraparound.

Dredd - A nice conclusion to the story, glad to see Sensitive Klegg survive, plenty of shooting and also a good amount of humour. Would definitely like to see more of Luna City in the future, all those resources sat there are just crying out to be exploited once Justice Department can spare the manpower.

Defoe - Pat Mills inability to keep his real world politics out of his fictional stories is getting real wearisome for me, will pass on this in future.

Slaine - My first ever  read of Slaine! Will give it a few more weeks before deciding if I like it or not, although the art is excellent, the CGI-ish photo-realisticness of it all can't help but remind me of something you'd find in the back of the Star or the Sun, strangely offputting at first, but sure I'll get used to it.

Age Of The Wolf - Not very clued up as to the background of this strip, but it's a fun read and the clean art is a nice change to everything else in the prog.

The Ten Seconder - Now this is how it is done. Massive changes wrought before our eyes, very keen to see where this is being taken. Excellent sci-fi, good humour and great art, more please!!

On a related note my sub runs out soon, 50/50 split as to whether or not I'll bother renewing, the only sure-fire strip for me is Dredd, which I can easily get my fill of with trade paperbacks and Case Files. Decisions decisions...

The official Dredd facebook page has well over 200,000 likes, would be amazing to get even close to that. :)
