Have any subscribers received their two volumes yet? I have an indication of them being sent on the 24th, but not had anything her so far.

My account is showing the same, but I've not received anything yet.

I'd love for SinDex to get  casefiles style reprint. I keep looking at the existing collections and I just can't bring myself to buy into a set with so many missing stories...

*Quickly checks his receipt* So it does; £3.50 for me too (also just noticed that only one copy of the Prog scanned too, so I appear to have gotten one for free... bonus I guess).

I was just nipping on here to ask about the fuck up on The Day the Law Died blurb too...

Let's cut to the chance and ask Patrick Goddard & Dylan Teague if there's more spine artwork!

Good idea; I'm sure there is ;)

Well, it's back on the store - but it's the initial design again. So they haven't sold the first 500 yet? Or is this an error in the shop listing?

We thought we'd sold them all, but found a few in the warehouse, so relisted those. All gone now, though...

A friend of mine nabbed the last three and because he only needed two of them it means I get one more to round out mine to an even four. I'm glad they were found; will make the shelf look much better. Now I just have to wait for the next design for another four of those...

I suspect they didn't sell as quickly as expected... for such a limited run with people buying multiple copies, they were hanging about much longer than I expected.

Either that or it'll end up being a new design each year and they sold much sooner than expected

I do wish they would release more though... I was planning on buying three of each design until I had my back issues bound and then two a year after that.

I was also hoping we'd get a Megazine design too.

Okay Anzati, I'll bite. Assuming 20 more volumes to extend the picture to the left what Dreddverse characters would be added to the image? Based on the current picture let's assume 10 more.
Giant
Griffin
Sisters of Death
Kazan

Over to the board for a bit of fun.

I hadn't thought that much about it :P

Mrs. Gunderson
Call-Me-Kenneth
Maria
Max Normal

That seems to have been the logic for the Marvel series... I posted a comparison image at the bottom of page 51 of this tread a while ago ;)

I've just taken another look and adding another 20 volumes to the left of the collection would indeed put Dredd right in the centre of the image instead of being 20 volumes to the left of centre as he stands at the moment...

I still maintain that an extension for the Mega Collection is planned and has been from the start in the same way that the Marvel set was. Just look at the spine image; on the right volume 80 has an end to the line up with no character having any parts cut off. However look at the left with volume 1 and the image is clearly cut. This image was commissioned specifically for the collection, so it just doesn't make sense for the lack of balance (the position of Dredd walking the line is also a consideration, but I haven't yet counted this to see).

This collection seems to follow the same pattern as the Marvel collection in that it starts as a 60 volume set and later gets expanded by 20 volumes on each end that complete the spine image. The Mega Collection was already expanded by 20 volumes on the right from 60 to 80 between the test release and the full release. I fully expect another 20 volumes to be announced sometime around issue 60...

Looks like the scalpers are going to do well this year...

...it says something about how into Survival Geeks I am that I didn't even realise there was a new character last week until it was spelled out this week!

Wasn't he the villain from the first Survival Geeks story?

Looks like this is going to be a difficult one to get hold of... I found one pre-order listing on eBay, but it's the US version and they're asking £18 for shipping :(

...now if only I can find somewhere that is taking part. It seems that my local shop isn't taking part this year...

Maybe not, but Anzati did specifically say "strong nudity and sexual images", which kind o' puts it into that context.

Exactly, nudity in general isn't a massive issue... the context however is.
