Somehow I missed all news of this being released, thankfully just managed to get a copy from Gosh Comics.

Many have batteries but also wired to the mains, I recall one going off during the day when I was working nights and it ended up being ripped off the ceiling in desperation to shut it up.

The word "give" has 20 or 30 definitions, or so I'm given to understand. Either you or I have fallen to equivocation. If it's me, I apologize.

Usually I just read your comments with a sense of bemusement and feel no need to respond, but that is a terrible argument to make.

So we're, what, one and a half collections from the end now? Under Hachette's terms, you have around a month to tell them if you want to end with 112. I'm not surprised we're not getting a list of what's coming up, but it is a pity. (I guess it wouldn't typically happen with a periodical and I'm not sure it's happened with other partworks, but it did with this one last time.)

The Batman Collection has been extended twice so far and neither time has there been a list of upcoming books.

Outlaw for me, more because I dislike Journey into Hell than for any other reason.
#7
Rage. Not looking forward to when these choices get harder

Top Dog 5

I recall getting the yearbook for Christmas and being blown by Dredd and SD in a crossover.
#9
The Killing  slightly biased as the first SD story I ever read and remains one of my favourites.

I've enjoyed the collection and the extension to 111 is mostly amazing, but that list for the next 29 really doesn't excite me. Might turn into a cherry picker when 111 comes through the door.

Was there ever a list for the second extension? I thought they just mentioned a few titles that would be included.

Film & TV / Re: James Gunn's THE SUICIDE SQUAD

I enjoyed the start of the first suicide squad film when it was introducing the characters, really felt like it was going to be a different take. But then it just became every other superhero movie, very disappointing.

Birds of Prey is OK, clearly dc trying to copy the success of deadpool.

This trailer looks fun, especially Killer Shark.

Guys!

You're not going to believe this but all back issues AND the Rogue Trooper figure have been replaced.

I can scarely believe my luck; oh happy day!

Excellent (and very unexpected) news.

Film & TV / Re: Carano, Whedon and all that
15 February, 2021, 01:21:55 AM
Just to clarify she wasn't a pro-wrestler but a legit fighter who competed in Thai boxing & MMA where she had a record of 7-1 being the first female to become a star in a sport that up until then had been dominated by men. Regardless of what you might think of her appearance she is a genuine badass, rather than an actor playing one.

Even when competing as a pro fighter though she regularly missed making the required fight weight so this has long been an issue for her plus factor in that she hasn't fought professionally in almost twelve years & she's 38 so of course she's put on some weight. Each to their own but personally I think Carano still looks better than the majority of the stick thin actresses that Hollywood assumes all men find attractive.
