Off Topic / Re: RIP W. R. Logan

Just seen the news, both about Logan and Stephen and I'm absolutely gutted.

What Dave said. Met Stewart a couple of times, at a Con or two and the first Southern Contingent meet ups. He was a great guy to have a beer with and talk all things 2000ad - and anything else that wandered into the conversation. Also, he would have time for you even if that was the first time you'd met. That goes a long way with me.

Stephen I didn't meet, but the one memory I do have of him is opening endless indie comics and seeing his name in the credits over and over again "That guy is on art in here too? Does he sleep?"

Anyway. Just doesn't seem right that decent people don't get to last.

Hello all. Thought I'd pop in to give this one a go. More of a 'Thank You' to folks who've helped me get started really. Ended up being a bit wider than can reasonably fit on here, but hey ho.

So in one story we have Locusts and his mate not being scared when the man-shaped object threw rocks back at them, and in the other we hear of SBT running after a werewolf.

I'm obviously a complete wuss. If I were the former, I'd still be behind the wheel now driving in the opposite direction as fast as possible. If I were the latter I'd be in the cellar with the door nailed shut and brandishing a shotgun.

Well!

That's no way to treat your
long-disappeared boyfriend/gangster/crook
is it?! And there I was thinking
"What is Petra Mayler in this story for...?"

Bit of a miraculous recovery in the final reel though...
"The story itself, drawn by a small press writer only known as Emperor"

Blimey Emps, was Alex just colouring in your pencils then? You dark horse  :)

Singing and dancing pigs and a comedy walk from Cpt. Sparrow himself. What more could you ask for?

Bit of a slow burner this week, but intriguing all the same. Almost felt a twinge of sympathy when
the journalist was promoted in an obvious way to stop him sniffing around - indicating there are a lot more folks who don't want the extra attention.
Ooh I dunno, y'know... I distinctly remember you with your head in your hands at Bristol saying "What have I done?"  :)

Nice! That technology, eh?

Tell that to Brandon Lee...
