Hey cheers guys! I feel really honoured.

Zarjazzer, I use a Telecaster, usually through a Fender Tweed Blues Junior (feckin' GREAT amp), with a tube screamer and touch of delay/tremolo/rotary effect. I also use a yamaha acoustic, and the drums were various pearl/roland kits, although I did the majority of the drums on a little roland HD1 kit!

The older I've got, the more I've come to LOVE fender - it used to be all Les Pauls and Marshalls with me. Eep.

Shameless and shocking plug dept:

I wrote, played and recorded an album, and I'm kinda proud of it!

If you get a spare 45 minutes, come over to http://seankeefe.co.uk/  and have a listen - I'd love to listen to what fellow boarders think. It's not exactly high production standards, but kinda rock n roll/ country/blues and very much me. I've been working on it for the last seven months, and play all the instruments. And now, I think a very long lie down is down with some arsom refreshment is in order....

...actually, how DO you stop bananas from going off? They only seem to last about two days in the fruit bowl, then they're brown! does anyone have any life changing suggestions?

I won a goldfish.
It's not a particularly big goldfish, nor does it seem to be the brightest. It seems incapable of even the most basic maths, doesn't possess the greatest singing voice (although he is capable of holding a tune, at least), and while his main hobby appears to be reproducing great paintings of the renaissance period exclusively in the medium of melted wax, it's safe to say that he won't be contributing to the household budget solely through the power of art.
No, my goldfish will be destined to earn our crust through many years of hard graft in the local salt mines.
But you know what? He's a grafter. I can see that. And that's why, very quickly, he's become one of the family.
I shall call him Squeedge. And he's my goldfish.
And together, the universe isn't big enough.

Well, I don't even have a hairline anymore! :-[
Just a thought: how many folks on here have, at least once today, checked themselves out in the mirror with a hand over the top part of their face, pulling "that chin" expression?
No one? Just me?
I'll get me coat...

To be honest Chuffster, the reason I was a touch negative at your first post was because I thought you were him up to his old tricks. Consider me humbled and very much in awe of you for all this. All these pics look fantastic!

...looks like I sit corrected! My apologies to you, sir.
whinge whinge moan bloody subscriber only covers......

No it doesn't.

To be honest, I'm more of a lurker around these threads, but for what it's worth, I'm just glad they're making it, and paying attention to the source. Urban's a fine actor and seems to have the right attitude for the role, and hey - who cares if it's taking a while? Shows they're PAYING ATTENTION to it properly!

Film & TV / Re: Last movie watched...

I've had a week off this week, so have been catching up on the mountain of back progs and stack of dvd's that have been building up over the last few months, when I clearly should have been doing something constructive.
Watched The Ghost with Pierce Brosnan and Ewan McGregor - good, but some real nonsense plot points and a bit of a cop out at the end. Recommend it, though.
Also Edge Of Darkness with Mel Gibson - again, very good, some plot holes but a nice turn by Mel.
And Little Big Man, with Dustin Hoffman. One of my favourite Westerns of all time!
