Hi guys.

Are there any good tips on what size letters to use, coherently at 20= words a bubble at 6 panels on an A4 template, please?

Now, if only there was someone who knew a lot about lettering who frequented the board on a daily basis...

Hopefully the first two links should help Krom, if not, a comment on Jim's blog should see you right.

Cheers, Kev. I seriously need to know this. It's really holding up an already tight deadline.

I would post this in the lettering thread but I'll post here so you don't miss it...

As I've been told several times it all comes down to the font you choose but from my experience, Unmasked from Blambot works well at 10pt on an A4 page. If you type out a balloon using this font and size then compare it to the font you are using, you should be able to work out what size to choose.

Hope this helps.

Not quite a tutorial but worth bookmarking:

This is the full chapter on Collaboration Contracts from Business and Legal Forms for Authors and Self-Publishers by Tad Crawford

The book comes with CD-ROM containing all the contracts in easy to print off form.

Already posted in the General Art Discussion thread but thought people might also look here:

I typed in 'How to be an illustrator' into Google not expecting much but found some interesting websites. I should never underestimate Google.

These are particularly good I think:

I did a quick youtube (about 13 minutes) demo of how to draw a perspective grid WITHOUT using vanishing points. Useful if the points would be off the page.

Excellent video. One of the reasons I chose to go Digital was my perspective lines kept ending up off the Drawing board. The internet-the secret of all things is there!
