That's a great score! I missed Kristin Hersh when she was in Blighty. Still holding out for a TM tour one day, although Belly are coming back to UK in the summer.

I tottered on over to see some old rockers last week. Robert Plant at Sheffield City hall was, as you expect very good, some new stuff and some old Led Zep stuff made a great night.

Then I had a trip to Leeds to see Fish (of Marillion fame) - but the trains were crapped out so got there nearly an hour into his set. So I braved the snow to Manchester the next night and got the full show and helped me and a bloke get a ticket as it was sold out. He played the whole of Clutching at Straws on it's 30th anniversary which was ace, but it means we are all getting old!  :)

Hi Colin, yes I have a Belly ticket for the Leadmill, good that you have too. I did get one for Manchester and then realised that they were playing Sheff!

I am always wondering if the Muses will get it going again, but as you say, Belly are a pretty fine outfit in themselves, I might have to bump into you to say hello!  :)

Saw them where I work about five years ago - Nick Marsh (formerly of Flesh for Lulu) was in the band at the time, now sadly RIP.

Cool yeah I'll try to give you a clue as to who I am...

Ha ha, yes that would be good to maybe say hello.

I did the Belle and Sebastian thing a few weeks back at Manchester Bridgewater Hall, backed by an orchestra and they were fabulous.

So it's back there again for Steven Wilson (Porcupine Tree) on Saturday to get back to my old prog rock roots.

Saw that Natalie Merchant (10,000 Maniacs) is over in the UK this summer, so snaffled tickets for Buxton Opera house in July.

...the venues are getting grander the more we all get older it seems...  :P
