If "Trollocks" isn't adopted soon as a swear word, then I don't know what has gone wrong with the world.  :D

I'm hoping it's just a setup for a "Never mind the Trollocks!" line later...

Good thing I've just made some space on my bookshelves for more Graphic Novels...

I loved it.

I rewatched it for the 4th time at the weekend and still think it's great.

I think twice is enough for now.
One thing I agree with Sharky here. And that is the question in whether these vaccines do the job (some obviously didn't), which is pretty a valid question.

All you have to do is look at the deaths:cases ratio - we're experiencing the same number of cases at the moment as we did just before Christmas last year (so pre-vaccine roll out), but we're seeing an 80% drop in fatalities. I'd say the vaccines are working.

I'll enjoy watching the remake hopefully but I reckon I'll leave OG Candyman for another 10-20 years.

The 2021 film is a sequel to the original, y'know. The main character is the baby from the original.

That's a pretty big spoiler :(

One of the advantages of the banking Apps I have on my phone is that I can use them to freeze my card instantly in the case it gets nicked.

more boring nostaliga. the cartoon was shit.

BoTP was great at the time - I loved it. It doesn't hold up very well, although the vehicle and mecha designs are still great.

Science Ninja Team Gatchaman (The Original Anime) is great fun though - mainly because it got rid of all that 7 Zark 7 bollocks that was needed to explain all the fight scenes that they cut out because they were 'too violent' for 70s kids - and to be fair there were a few that would have been. Some were a bit bloody, and Jason could be a bit sadistic when fighting. Plus they had to ditch the plotlines of Zoltar being able to switch genders, and one of the team gets killed off.

If they make the live-action more like Gatchaman, it could be good fun :)

Have ordered this beauty from HLJ: https://www.hlj.com/1-72-scale-zoids-red-horn-kbyzd030r

Won't be the same as the old motorized 80's version, but looks like a fun build.

I'll have to dig out my original (I doubt the electrics would still work though).  Also have Zoidzilla somewhere.  My favourite one is probably still my first though - the clockwork Spiderzoid.

They're probably OK, unless you left a battery in there :) I've got a few of the originals, but got a pile of Zoids from the early 2000s re-release, with some nice colour variants (Black redhorn, Blue Krark etc.)

Is that the same actor as the guy in Stargate SG-1?

No, but he played Marc Donovan in 'V'

The Belgariad by David Eddings - definitely my 'comfort food' of books.
Anne McCaffrey's Pern series.

I quite like just grabbing an old Sci-fi novel from my shelves - anything by Heinlein, Clarke, Asimov etc that's only a couple of hundred pages long and can be devoured in a few hours

Highlander Such a great film and a wonderful performance by Sean Connery as Ramirez. It's one of those films that should never have been as good as it is. Shame they never did a sequel.

It's for the best - they would have probably mucked it up and made it about space aliens or something...
