Yes, he was the pawnbroker who hands over the package with the Lawgiver to Rico.

Is it my imagination or is the Dredd badge a photo of the Termight Replicas replica?

Lady F also mentioned somewhere there was a short story comp with a 6 word limit (!)  :o which was won by the entry "For Sale. Baby Shoes. Never worn"

Alan Moore wrote a six word story:

If you knew anything about Cam's situation, you'd hopefully realise how fucking tastless that last sentence really is.

My apologies if I've offended anyone.  I'm a huge Cam Kennedy fan (particularly on Rogue) and have nothing but respect, admiration and gratitude for the man.

Thanks TordelBack and mygrimmbrother for taking it in the spirit intended.

The "Pre-emptive Revenge" audio drama is set in the Radlands of Ji, isn't it?

This year CF, the Cellar of Dredd.  But soon, the Shed of Dredd.  And the Loft of Dredd.  And the Extension of Dredd.  And the Dredd wing.  And the--

More Rogue!  Yes!

Does this mean they'll have to do a new Rogue Trooper casefiles to include it in?

Tharg, just give Cam Kennedy a wodge of A3 or larger and tell him one panel a page!  That should take care of any eyestrain troubles.

Just been reading some very old progs and came across Dash Decent and Captain Kelp. I know they are just tongue in cheek but seriously.

Klep was rubbish, but I'm sure some fantastically handsome, intelligent, wind-swept and interesting people quite like the other one.

John, that's absolutely brilliant!

If the powers-that-be have any sense, they should contact you and have this printed as the next volume in the Mega City Archives series, then get you onto the next topic!

I don't know whether to cry in despair or laugh at the irony that your effort, which is at a superficial level based on something as unexciting as the MC1 street directory, absolutely creams the MC1 archives in look and content, and they were based on more meatier topics revolving around people and events!

If Rebellion/Mongoose are truly serious about producing an encyclopaedic reference work, this is the way they should go.

I would certainly pay to have this kind of reference properly produced.

(Oh, and a full colour hardback book of covers, whilst your at it, oh Powers-that-be!)

Harry Twenty was released this week in the US only:

...but is available in the UK (and other territories) via the Book Depository and probably other e-tailers.  Mine arrived in Oz last week and I'm enjoying rereading a thrill that I haven't read since the original progs were published.

It's also interesting to see echoes (precursors?) of DR & Quinch in the art - elements I thought were signature to Davis's alien design (e.g. overly-long arms) appear just to be his style.

And I wonder what would've been if old Ben 90 had only been sentenced to the High Rock for a decade....

Isn't case files 17 going to be pink too ?

It should be, given that 11 is red like 01, 13 is green like 03, etc.

The Heat Vision blog at The Hollywood Reporter covers the Urban casting

I'm pleased to see it says "the producers have said Urban will be hatted through most of the movie."

That's in contrast to Stallone, of course, who was hated through most of his movie.
