What is your 3 favorite self-contained stories? These are the stories that was done and dusted which did not consist out of multiple smaller stories but one continuous storyline. No sequels were done for them and none of them are from the Dredd-verse (or any verse from the world of AD).
When I die, I want to die like my grandfather who died peacefully in his sleep. Not screaming like all the passengers in his car.

Harry 20 on the High Rock
Metalzoic
The Meltdown Man

Barrington Boots

Not an easy choice!
I've not read all of these, but without thinking too hard about I reckon:

Cradlegrave
Meltdown Man
Hookjaw

Necronauts just missing out.
You're a dark horse, Boots.

Magnetica

Technically Time Quake shouldn't be in the list, as there was a series in Starlord (which was great) and one in 2000AD. Also if I am remembering it correctly the run in Starlord had at least two different stories (one with Aztecs and another where the Nazis had won WW2 and were now running Britain out of "Buck House".)

Magnetica

And now for my vote:
1. Harry 20
2. Meltdown Man
3. Metalzoic

Richard

I'm not sure that Hookjaw counts either, given that it was a series in Action. Also you forgot Shako.

But anyway:
1. The Dead
2. Firekind
3. Glimmer Rats

It does not matter if it was in another publication was itself self-contained in the prog.

Shako added. So if anyone wants to change their vote go ahead
